Very true. Crouching and being prone at the right times is a very important gameplay mechanic.
It's a totally different experience. We even have one friend who enjoys playing solo but he's involved in Tent Town and helps us out and we help him with supplies.
It seems like a situational demo. Perhaps it won't be 100% like what we saw but I do think it will be close. Ubisoft seems really proud about this game so I'm hoping they don't screw it up.
I really like Windows 8. I don't use the Metro apps much yet but I'm sure when things update with new features and more stuff has Metro, I'll be using it more often. The Metro stuff looks really nice and while you can't have more than one app up at a time for multitasking, Alt+Tabbing is actually extremely fast in Windows 8 so it's not too bad.
I've been using Windows 8 since the Dev preview and it's been getting better and better. I barely ever ...
I wish they didn't called this a Metal Gear game. It should just be called "Raiden: SomethingSomethingSomething&qu ot;.
Were we playing the same game? I never heard Lightning moan or act depressed once. She just kept pressing forward with the mission.
I've never played these social games but I do know that Zynga likes to rip off of stuff or buy smaller studios who make better social games then them.
Steve should work for Zynga. He obviously knows what's wrong with them and how to change that.
We need a Beast Wars game like this!
I didn't like how realistic GTA4 went. They did a good job with it but I've always looked at the franchise as semi-real, semi-ridiculous and they left that last part out in 4.
I want my katanas. I want my parachutes. I want my sniper shot moon.
Pay to play MMO's will be gone by next year. Only ones left around will be WoW and maybe one or two others but all new MMO releases in 2013 will be f2p.
Great list but why is Revan #5? Why is Time from Braid higher than Revan? Also, you have a picture of The Punisher (who does have a game) and he isn't even on the list.
I always look at Gotham City Imposers as Team Fortress in Gotham. Yet, I still have yet to buy it. Is it worth it?
She looks really cool but I've always liked to play as Lilith and will be checking her out first.
The wait between the post-launch releases and this upcoming slew of them was long and terrible. But I still love my Vita!
YES. I can't agree enough.
I play mostly alone, even if friends are on the server. We are in different places due to the random spawns and I felt like it would take away from it if I just spawned and went to the tents and picked up a weapon and clips.
If I run into my friends eventually, that will be fun. I just like letting it run naturally.
I saw one exchange with a guy scavenging and another yelling at him in side chat saying this was his place. They killed each other. It was nuts.
I took everything I could. >:)
I play Final Fantasy VII every year. It's like a tradition.
Only Silent Hill games that we're PlayStation-exclusive were Silent Hill 1 and Origins.
Plus, they released the game on 360, it sold on the 360, it should be patched. It's great that the PS3 version got patched but they shouldn't have just quit on the 360 one.
