Please wait until next gen for this! Obviously Bethesda has issues dev'ing on the PS3 and I really hope they don't decide to release another game where people who buy it have so many issues. It's a crappy thing to hear.
Can't wait for this. Probably 2014, though.
@Jumper, people buy it for the same reason they buy Madden. They enjoy it.
How was it opposite? It stopped the Reaper's need for genocide by making them equal to the rest of existence. Now everyone can work together towards a future.
I don't see how that's a win for the Reapers. If anything it is counter to what they want. They want to destroy to preserve a balance, now their primary goal is moot. Now they just exist.
Guild Wars 2 is a bad game. The design is great! But why is there no end game progression? You reach top level and then just get gear for looks. No increased stats. That kills the game for me after you hit top level. It's like Diablo 3 after hitting 60 (before this new paragon stuff). Sure, I can play Inferno but why? I'm not getting anything out of it but achievements and frustration.
Mass Effect 2 I believe is one of the best games ever made. Top 15 game in my opinion. Also, Mega Man X redefined the platform genre and I think is top 20 at the least.
I guess I can be glad that the right titles are being picked for this list. Numbering is a bit off, though.
I still have my Ocarina of Time announcement issue. :(
Honestly, I'd do the same thing until I really wanted to be able to cross a bridge into the next island without having to do some crazy stunt that only worked 30% of the time.
Sleeping Dogs, on the other hand, has me hooked. I can't skip any missions.
I hate his look but I like his attitude. The new trailers from Gamescom actually made me want DMC after months and months of just ignoring it.
I liked Silent Hill and I always said if they threw tons of money at it Mass Effect could be the new Star Wars. Maybe even better.
Until the prequels come along...
If it's the Steam Box, then alright. Still, competition makes the world go 'round.
I was using a simple game engine once but I hated how every game from that engine looked exactly the same. So I stopped, lol. Maybe I'll pick it up again at a later point.
I want to learn the open source engine that Spiral Knights used.
Very cool cinematic.
Zeratul game > StarCraft: Ghost. Both will never see the light of day.
My biggest problem with the Infinity Gauntlet event was that Thanos could have done anything at any time. He didn't have to work towards anything. He already had the gauntlet. Whereas with Annihilation, Annihilus had to wage war to try and take over. There was something both sides were working towards.
Infinity Gauntlet just felt like the heroes got lucky Thanos was busy trying to tap dat ass.
This, Duke Nukem, Descent, Doom, Wolfenstein, and Blake Stone encompassed my childhood.
I just want a new UI with new features. Spruce this thing up, it looks old. It's functional, of course, but I guess I wanna see something more.
Aside from that, add in e-mail support, other chat systems, and a timer for how long you've been playing non-Steam games is all I could really ask that they put in.
@Estranged, Silent Hill 3 had a PC version.
That's exactly what scares me. It doesn't matter what console does what or why, if you release a product and people buy it, support it. It only leads to customer loyalty and more money. Why hurt that?
I was surprised by Nintendoland but I can't see myself using it as much as I did with Wii Sports.
