Not to forget Concept artists, environment artists, texture artists, character artists, modelers, animators, script writers... and so on.

Games are art for one simple reason. Artists create art that is visible in all games but text based. Every game results in a player having an emotion. By definition, games are, art.

On the point of amiibo, it looks really bad to make amiibo more important than big games. Worse they make the amiibo before the game.
I had to comfort my son because he was emotional and torn. He had seen so much awesomeness in earlier Conferences, but when his favorite came, nothing was new. Nothing made him jump. Well he did yell out when Animal Crossing game board started. Then when he realized it was not a full game, he kinda just said that could be fun.
Why is Nintendo so lost on how to show it's fans what they want to see? Still?
Shocking, confusing disappointment. I just don't get it. My kid cried. Because there was no Big announcement for his favorite console Wii U. I have to say I am still baffled.

Not in my judgement. MS needs to make up ground and that conference was so awkward and awful. I was only impressed with Valkyrie. Nothing about it was helpful to MS XBOX. They even over shadowed the inclusion of the XboxOne controller with their own split VR controller. So what was the point of any of this? They just stabbed themselves in the foot and left the rest of E3 VR in a nervous state. Hope someone does better at showing VR next week.
I doubt Sony would end up purposefully pushing a service to kill off PS4 and it's own future consoles business.
