Seriously, reviews say it has some of the best shooting dynamics and multiplayer this gen, and then rate it down by a massive amount just because of its "story". Common.
Then sites troll around saying its only 4 hours, when it is more. It feels like places WANT something to be bad with PS3 exclusives half the time.
Its a weird comparison listening to Helghan Forever (the KZ2 MP theme) to this. It feels like the game has matured and become more emotional than just a bunch of guys fighting a war.

There is NOT 7/10's everywhere, infact a majority are 8.5's+, Killzone is a fun game in both multiplayer and singeplayer, it just makes it better with the new gameplay mechanics (jetpacks, brutal melee, sliding into cover, etc).

Ok, you can finish the game in 4 hours if you skip the cutscenes.
However; if you actually play the game for fun- not rushing through, admiring the scenery (as I tend to do :D) and seeing how many brutal melle moves you can squeeze in, along with watching the cutscenes it will take around 6 probably.
Then you play through again on a harder difficulty, or the hardest. You hunt for all the trophies and unlockables.
THEN you have online.

Treyarch made a broken game for PS3- whenever I try to join a friend it will freeze me for around 2-5 minutes in which time most of my friends have already given up on me.
Other people I've talked to have the same problem.
I do NOT think that hate for COD is silly when a broken, underpolished game is released yet millions of people (yes including me unfortunately) still bought it.

Ok fine, purchase by what the reviewers say.
In that case, you wouldn't have GT5 or Killzone 3 now as 2 recent examples, GT5 is an awesome game and I expect KZ3 to be aswell.
Most sites gave it around 9, some like IGN, Gamespot, etc gave it 8.5 while 1 or 2 otheres gave it 7.
Admittadely, I do NOT take reviews seriously in any cases anymore, especially after IGN+GT5, it shows their lack of professionalism.
I don't care its reviews scores, I love Killzone and will be playing it come the release. IGN can suck my balls.
