Oh, wait. Is this article serious? The answer's a definite "no." Only Retro Studios can bring Metroid back to its glory days.
The only valid point in this article is the xbox live price hike. Everything else really doesn't contribute to the argument.
The majority of those reasons are just lame and Kinect really is optional. The only way the 360 is getting more costly is the Xbox Live price hike.
What a crappy article.
I wouldn't say they're the "top developer" in the industry despite the studio's top-notch work in their past games with their best shown off in recent projects such as Uncharted 2.
Just my honest opinion, though.
If you've seen the beginning of Reach in its final version, that scene is still there. There are only slight changes such as showing the faces of the soldiers rather than covering them up with the helmets and some of the dialogue is somewhat different too in the base. But that scene is still there and in-game...
Looks pretty much the same too.
This is really old.
And it's just a ticket that will enter you to win a life-sized spartan...not very "epic" unless you end up winning the thing.
I just want to play on-line with friends. I don't want any extra features. Heck, I don't even use the features in Xbox Live today with the exception to Netflix...but I'm paying extra for that as well...
Now, that's just insanely douchebagy on microsoft's part. Most of us aren't even asking for the majority of the newly added services!! Why not just charge those that do want those services and leave the rest of XBL members alone?!
Too many spoilers on Youtube, I bet. You can at least watch this without having to worry about ruining any key plot stories.
I know that Forgeworld will keep me occupied for quite a while, especially after all of the improvements the developers have made from Halo 3's forge.
oh, cool, I didn't know that. thanks for the info!
anyways, awesome live-action trailer for Reach!
In my opinion, the Patapon franchise is hands-down easily one of top best on the PSP.
The visuals are a delight, the sounds are a joy to listen to, and the gameplay is superb, just amazingly rock-solid.
Can't wait for this one!
Amen to that. And lets not forget the ps2 didn't even have a capable online network. I don't think anyone even used it. If it weren't for the xbox and halo duo, online gaming wouldn't be what it is today.
How in the world would the story matter if the game were to be developed on a different platform? It will be made and written by the same developer and almost nothing would change. Sure, the blu-ray disc would have allowed Bungie more freedom in content and graphics capability, but even nowadays, most blu-ray games fail to utilize the full use of the blu-ray and have probably never reached the large amount of content packed into Reach.
These comments are being flooded with PS3 fanboys who want to do nothing but bash halo...Ha ha.
Hell, it's an ending that's supposed to cater towards fans of the Halo franchise and it does that perfectly. Sure, all endings could be better, but this is how the developers behind Halo wanted it to end and end it did.
The legendary ending should be interesting, as they always pave the road for something exciting.
This guy should just get a job at making headlines instead.
I still play Wind Waker and its gorgeously unique visuals mixed with solid gameplay suck me in every time.
Nothing like sailing through the sea with your dragon-boat-buddy as the waves crash in the distance and you see yourself heading into a storm of rain and thunder.
I haven't played Okami, but that game looks equally outstanding as well.
What is the point of your comment? You're like salt for a wounded gaming industry.
Anyways, these vehicle have already been confirmed a while back but still cool.
I think this one's fake. Didn't the invasion start on August 30?
Love the music though.
Kat's going to be great in the campaign.
