You are forgetting numerous other scores out there that awarded the game a 9+.
Instead, you name just three reviewers, 2 of which awarded the game less than a 9 and one that game the game a 9. It's pretty obvious that you left out the other 9+ scores so that you could isolate EDGE by painting it as 360-biased.
You have to realize the budget is a mere $850. For comparison's sake, Paranormal Activity, that had almost no noticeable cgi, had a budget of $15,000. So, working with $850, you can see how limited the filmmakers really are. Of course you're not going to see top-notch cgi quality seen in the reach ad or odst that both were funded with a huge amount of money (somewhere in the millions) and backed by microsoft.
And Halo: Faith is being released over the internet for ...
It says it got a 7.75.
I think that was the number of units sold to retailers, not customers.
Sweet, another perfect score. This game is sounding more amazing with each passing review.
Thanks for the heads-up.
Whoa, I really wasn't expecting that.
There's such a stark contrast of scores for this game so far, I guess I'll just have to see for myself.
Now, I've definitely got to get a wii for this game.
And of course, the mario galaxy games and past gamecube games are surely worth getting a wii for.
@Chuk5 Besides, I've got tons of extra cash to spend this holiday season, so I'm not really worried in that department and I've got a niece who lives with me who's dying to play a wii as well.
Hmm, I hope it isn't too serious.
Haha, so true.
I hate it when review sites give games 89s...
I bet they were thinking this:
"Hey, let's give the skyrim its first non-90+ score so we'll get hits, but wait, we don't want to get hate mails or get nasty threats, so we'll just give it a high 80s score."
Damn, that's slick stuff.
That's really awesome. It's great to hear when developers do these type of things.
Hmm, I might have to finally pick one up now. Skyward Sword demands it.
Lol, gt rated mw 3 and skyrim the same.
Well, these numbers are "shipped to retailers," not "sold to customers."
Either way, Sony can say it sold 3.8 million units because, in reality, it has. Though, they have sold it to retailers and they get the money either way.
Take BF 3 for example. EA said they sold ~10 million units to retailers, but in reality, the game was sold to actual customers with ~5 million units.
"Just a quick note to say that I have not yet finished the game and have only managed to get in about 30hrs of gameplay. I know I’ll get a lot of haters on this but seriously, the game really is that freaking big."
Well, you shouldn't be in a hurry to rush out the review with any game. Finish the game and then review the game.
9.5, wow, I really wasn't expecting that. Well, it looks like I'll have to push bf 3/mw 3 aside to get this game.
Ahh, this and zelda 3ds should make a 3ds purchase sound.
It's either the pandas or puberty.
So, EA deletes and restricts everything (even our paid items) due to a forum ban... EA's such an ass.
And I'm sure they expect us to buy whatever we lost all over again. :/
