If the analyze mode and library are kinect-exclusive features, I'm disappointed with 343i. I don't imagine it'd be terribly difficult to program so that these features can be accessed via the simple touch of a button on the controller.
Excitement? Maybe people there are looking forward to those features?
Besides, I've also seen these "wahoos" and "yeaaaahs" at quakecon and at uncharted panels.
Read the article, man.
It's an ALPHA menu. Very early stages.
Seeing how it's just optional, I don't mind. And for those that do have Kinect, voice commands, if they have been implemented with efficiency, might actually come in handy from time to time.
I really do appreciate what 343i is doing for Halo: CEA, seeing as how a re-mastered version is getting so much support, upgrades, and new features.
No, you GTFO. Read the dang quotes first before falling into these so-called bait traps that these profit-driven journalists conjure up.
I guess it's all about the revenue generated from the clicks. Though I really do hate how these journalists twist the words of developers around.
If nobody cared about Carmack's opinions, this and other Carmack articles would have 0 comments.
Wow, you really hate ms that much?
No game is perfect. 10s, on most sites, usually mean that the very few flaws the game has, if any, are usually negligible and don't deter from the experience.
8.5 is a great score but I fu***** hate Jim Sterling. It really does seem he wants all the attention. First with gears, now with this. He made a huge deal and wrote tons of articles about justifying his review with gears, and he'll probably do the same with this. = his website gets more revenue with the clicks.
The game's waiting at home for me but I'm stuck in college...
Haha, zelda pushed him off the edge. :p
Then you obviously haven't played Batman: Arkham Asylum, because that's far from childish.
I'll agree with you on that comparison. You hit it right on the nail.
Same here. I can't wait to see how that level looks like in Halo CEA.
The PC version is only $41.99 at amazon right now. :)
Edit: @BiggCMan-- Lol, true.
Saber Interactive also works on multi-platform games.
EA's servers and their connectivity always seem to function horribly. Even now, I usually have problems connecting to EA's servers playing Battlefield 1943.
I respect the score, but the review is just too short and bare-bones for a huge feature-packed game such as forza 4.
