Exactly, thought I was reading an old article. Author is well wrong on the info wrote and needed more research.
I love Crysis Wars, I still think it stands up as a good FPS. Really looking forward to Crysis 2, especially the multiplayer.
@ Djorgo you can two 2 things with the new mounts:
Basically you can train one up to be a Pet and have another as a Mount but not one of each as a mount. In true Conan style you have to go and tame them from a young age and they grow with you. At the appropriate time you can covert into a mount or have as an attacking pet. They aren't just "given" to you as a reward you have to "make them your own."
The Wolf
The ...
Can find some brutal fatalities in AoC too
Failed, they withdrew the review because the reviewer had no game time in game really and made a load of mistakes. Really poor from eurogamer yet again
Apparently for $160 million. That puts all LOTRO licenses under one roof, maybe Turbine can use content from the films now in their mmorpg?
I also read Time Warner (parent company) may have interest in mirco-transactions so potential for a cash shop in game. Sad :(
One for the kids maybe
That was 2 years ago, your comment really doesn't help in any constructive manner does it not?
This is massively multiplayer game, not limited to 16 ppl like Red Dead Redemption (as nice as that game looks) it is different genre, different to Guild Wars too.
There is a free trial for Conan from their website.
joking right? Alive and kicking :)
From NCIX.com I think they are the biggest supplier in the country.
Both places out of stock sorry been looking since before Xmas for one same across the country. Only place is Xtreme systems but as I say $850 including tax and shipping - thank you for looking though appreciated.
I find it very amusing considering ATI HQ is in Canada that there is just one place selling 5970 over past 5 months in stock.
I paid for already a pre-order charge at the MSRP for the GTX 480. This was just $65 more than the same place that sold a slower 5870.
Nvidia looks far more promising choice for DX11 games, there are slow little of these DX11 games out right now and the new ones coming through do show a greater strain with DX11 and ATI cards (such as Metro).
For the price of one of these not so hot games I think I future proofed myself a little bit better. Besides launch drivers ...
You might want to check out Anandtechs review, fermi won 8/10 game benchmarks and 5870 2gb didn't get too much of a good write up. How many games did hardocp review? shameful.
You want to talk about Crysis? The GTX 480 has up to 33% better MINIMAL FPS than the 5870 - eat that. Infact overall the minimal FPS is way better and for me that is more or just as important as the max FPS in games.
Seems like you are very misinformed (no offence)
GTX 480 beat the 5870 in 8 out of the 10 game benchmarks in the article and it beat it up bad on the minimal FPS which counts quite a bit too. No kidding it pumps out heat and draws the juice.
At the end of the day it does perform and these are just release day drivers used.
$65 difference to 5870 for me. Might as well go newer and faster with Nvidia.
This is maximum PC's review not gizmodo's
1 up on ATI with x32 AA ability
Really looking forward to the expansion!
Very informative review with a lot more to see than most typical review websites. There are more benchies here.
We knew it would be hot, we knew it would eat power, but look at the minimal FPS very suprising it clearly wins by a big chunk, same thing anandtech reports too on their benchies
This has already been in Canada for a while.
Extra money to use a box each month as a Set Top Box = fail
Installation charges if you want them to come out and set it up = fail
Xbox 360 uses 3 x more power that a Set Top Box = fortune in electricity over a year (just search anandtech for the proof)
Oh and Xbox wireless is disabled if you want to watch TV on it = fail
