It's a decent update. They changed a few set pieces, which basically means a different / new playstyle on offer.
They added 3 new set pieces, Hunter, Barb, Wizard. Added more legendary weapons, and tweaked a few existing ones adding different powers / effects. Added new gems also.
Nice update for being free. Waiting on the next expansion though, it's been a while.
X1 and PS4 only (of course PC). Last gen won't be getting anymore updates as far as I understand.

Well the Order was their "most important game", then it moved on to Bloodborne, then it's looking like it's going to be this game, and after this it'll be another game.
The console has sold over 20 million units, I don't think there's a "most important game" at this point. Acting like the console is struggling in the sales department so it needs a "most important game" to sell.
Struggling to sell Wii U's? Yes. Objectively Wii U's sales have been poor since release. Subjectively I don't think Joe's opinion of it would change that fact in one way or the other.
I would have bought it if it was an expansion pack for BF4. I'm not going to pay $60 for this, sorry but imo it's not worth the money, and it seems man people felt the same about getting their money's worth.
Excuses? There's no excuses being offered. BB does what it does, and if you don't like it, then that's you. It's not a shortcoming of the game when that's what Souls games are known for.

I see you didn't do research before you bought the game then. Souls games don't hold your hand and guide you through the story. They don't paint a picture for you to see what's going on.
YOU need to figure out where to go, YOU need to find out the lore / story / backstory of the game.

Loading times aren't as big of a deal as people make it out to be.
Could they be shorter? Yes.
When I die, instead of crying about loading time, I reflect on why I died, and what I can do differently to NOT die again.
There's too much good in this game to sit there and complain about waiting a little longer than you normally would to respawn.
I agree that different genres of games shouldn't be compared, but a 9 shows a game's "quality".
I like Evolve (playing with friends) but IMO, Evolve's quality isn't on par with Bloodborne. Again, just shows that review scores are subjective, and shouldn't be taken seriously.
Load times haven't bothered me much tbh. It's annoying but when I die I take the load time to figure out what I could do differently, and that's making lemonade from lemons.
We shouldn't just "accept" long loading times though, but the way people make it sound, it's like GTA loadtimes...it's not. They said they're going to improve it, cool!.

Big fan of the Batman games, but it's not a frontrunner in my opinion.
Bloodborne, Witcher 3, and MGS 5. Those are my picks. Not saying Batman's going to be bad, I'm sure it'll be really good, just that the games I mentioned are (going to be) a class above.

Only problem I have with it is it seems all the different type of potions I had in my inventory disappeared. The ones I had in the stash are still there though, but I lost some good ones :(
