I didn't watch the vid, but I'm wondering WHY do this? There was a time I was struggling financially in W3, needing money to repair swords OR find a new one...and I LOVED IT!!!
It felt great to get myself out of that hole, and earn money to get myself in good enough shape to tackle the harder stuff. I'm playing on the 2nd to last hardest difficulty (forgot the name) so I can't just meditate and get back health. Absolutely love the game, and exploits like this ...
Don't believe everything they say. As much as I want to believe them, I'll just wait and see.
Devs / publishers are free to release what they want. Consumers are free to buy what they want. If you don't like remasters, don't buy them. I'm not a huge fan of it, but I won't tell people not to buy them. They might not have played the original version, or they did but feel like playing the "HD" version, or in my case, Street Fighter 4 coming to PS4 soon. Yea I have it on PS3, but I want the convenience of playing it on PS4 and not switching back and forth.
I agree with ItsJustEmman, also not to mention the balancing nightmare that would create. Having 3 variations of a character means 3 different balancing acts to perform. Start up frames for moves, recovery etc...imagine the headache involved with balancing 1 character with 3 variations? :O
Point is, other devs charge money for what you are claiming CDPR is doing. It's still free, and they could easily charge a few dollars for cosmetic items, and a quest here or there, but they're not.
It's a cool gesture on their part, and people like you are ungrateful and feel entitled to something. They don't owe you anything. If you're so salty about it, don't download their DLC. Simple.
Wait... is this sarcasm? Not sure if serious tbh.
It's FREE DLC, IDK how you can spin that into a negative. The "substantial" DLC is coming later this year, and next year.
I can't believe people complain about free DLC...
Upper Cathedral wasn't scary for me, probably because the brain suckers made me laugh more than anything else. I had more caution going through the Forbidden Woods.
Everyone has an opinion as to why they're skeptical. You can't really knock someone's skepticism these days when it involves the gaming industry, if you think he / she is right or not.
We're dealing with DICE / EA for this game. Of course people are going to approach this game with caution, they should imo. Blindly following hype gets people burned. Wait and see gameplay, and make your own decision, stop following hype trains.
Buying DLC won't feel like a rip if it felt like the devs are giving something back. For example CDPR with Witcher 3, they're giving some small DLC items away free. Very cool of them, even though it's a small gesture. I'll GLADLY buy DLC for Witcher 3 when they do release a couple expansions.
Problem is the profit margin greed that publishers make their #1 priority. Yea everyone has to make a buck, but give consumers something they're happy to pay for, an...
Noticeable difference. Almost on the platinum trophy :D
Literally one of the best SP games I've played in my life. From Software made a classic with this game, and I'm glad they're making the experience better for people. Can't wait for DLC!
Same here man. Not once did I get annoyed by the loading times. People need some patience, not like it's GTA load times >.>
Putting all the emphasis on holiday season instead of throughout the year. Yeah it would be cool to have a few exclusives for the holidays (who's to say they won't announce any at E3?) but I like gaming throughout the year, and not just a month.
I'll wait till E3 to write off Sony for the holiday season. I'm sure they'll have something up their sleeve, but if not, it doesn't matter to me personally. I'll just pick up whatever multiplat game that f...
Think most people knew it was PC footage. I didn't think anything of it as this is common practice in the gaming industry these days, to show footage from a high end PC.
They shouldn't have put 1080p / 60fps in the title though, but they're not technically wrong, on YouTube it runs at those specs (PC)... just that the game doesn't RUN at 1080p and 60fps on X1 (nor PS4).
Can't wait to play it though.
E3 maybe? Some special "gift to the fans" or whatever...
I mean the game is cheap now, if you REALLY wanted it, what's stopping you from spending what, $25?
It's a fun game, and worth the money IMO at least.
I'll save judgement till I see it at launch. I'm very skeptical. I just *HOPE* we don't get another BF4 at launch, but I'm expecting too much when I set my hopes up for stable frame rates, decent hit detection, balanced gameplay etc...
Anyway, DICE / EA will hype the game up, maybe it does look like in the trailer, but I'll take whatever they say with a grain of salt.
Hardcore? I don't know what makes a Hardcore destiny player "hardcore".
I have 11 days, 9 hours played, IDK if that makes a "hardcore" player, but I don't think HoW will make me play Destiny like I used to. I played allot of PvP, of course did raids with friends, but I was more interested in PvP, and that aspect of the game got boring with the lack of game modes.
Trials of Osiris might bring me back, I'll see. The changes to am...
To real life...
What defines failure? Sales? Review scores? Consumers reaction to the game?
It'll sell well, obviously. Star Wars attached to the name. Review scores will be 8's, 9's barring some really bad performance from the game, which tbh, might not even be mentioned by reviewers, BF4 for example. Complete mess at launch, still got 8's.
People's reactions will be mixed, like previous DICE games. They'll get some things good, and fail in other asp...
It was hard to figure out something was wrong when you noticed you're leveling up after every kill? 600 Paragon points just like that? please... you played a few games. 600 Paragon points is no joke, even by modding standards.
