could be being played on shitty television, I know this I played the game and it looks pretty damn amazing, and almost real at times. I am not into hardcore driving sims so I won't buy it but it looks far better than any other racing game.

5 to 10 hrs on most games is pretty crappy. something like 10-20 should be the norm.

Spike TV VGA show is only latching on to our community because the gaming community is a strong demographic, and we spend money on stuff.

Second, it isn't the PS3 that can't do 1080p 3D it's the game.

If your only talking sales, then yes it failed... If your talking game quality, and enjoyablity then it's up to those who bought it to decide if it failed or not.
This is not good for Xbox, they are starting to lose in europe and can not contend at all in japan.

Not much... They have little to no interest in the 360, and the Kinect is a device that actually requires you to have alot of space avalible, most of them do not have said space. The Move isn't even doing that well over there. An overpriced device for a machine they don't care about isn't going to do anything there.
@awiseman, actually last years award for most anticipated game of 2010 went to God of War 3.
It just came out much earlier than the other games you mentioned so people tend to forget how much everyone wanted this game at the time of Last years VGA's.

My hopes for the PSP2 are high, and can't wait to see what it can really do.
The PSP has sold 60 million +, A really soild, sleek, and multi-functioning PSP2 could easily pass that in this day and age.
Honestly did anyone not Know this was going to happen. Even people with both consoles would proble pick up the 360 version... Die Hard COD fans will of course get the game on the console that will have the DLC first.
