the whole thing seems like crap to me.
Anyone pay attention will have noticed that Sony sales are actually up from last year during the time of the network outage.
They are using resistance 3 to help push there new TV, and the sharpshooter bundle. I think they have tons of faith in the game, I already have a copy of the game reserved, and any fans of Resistance currently can't wait to play it.
Sony easily won. Everyone is talking about them, there games, and even the vita is impressive as hell... Nintendo dropped the ball big time, The Wii U why even bring it up if there not showing anything running on it, not talking about price, or specs, and honestly one of those controllers per system... I bet most of the games they showed dont look that good, or will have already been out on 360 and PS3(Batman Arkham City) plus I bet most of the features are scrapped. MS seems to have given ...
I am looking forward to E3 for the games, and only the games... Not interested in new consoles, we don't need that yet... I know there is a Wii2, and the next version of the psp, but no ps4 and no 720 or whatever it will be for MS... we don't need that yet. give us a few years, when the techology can actually make us want and or need new consoles. I just dont see the huge improvement in tech right now to justifiy new systems. Though MS could use a bluray drive.
The thing about the PC thing is, it is true that a PC is capable of doing more than a PS3 or 360, but the deves have to push the title, if they don't then it will be the same game across the board. So yes a PC can be better, but in all reality game developers are geared more towards consoles now.
This is clearly an opinion piece. Because I will buy and enjoy COD:MW3 on my ps3, and as far as problems go with blackops, well they were on both systems... I know I mostly played that game on my friends 360, and not my own PS3...but ran into many of the same troubles.
As far as Activison goes, they are heavily driven by profit just like every other huge corporation, but really the problem is everyone will continue to support them, because they do put out some pretty huge titles.
If the devs are actually using the betas to improve the game then yes, but if they don't take what the fans of the game are saying and fix nothing then no, don't waste our time.
Oh and they can track your accounts and see what you've been playing how about giving betas to those that actually would be interested in it.
Cannot blame xbl for this, bad parenting yes, something wrong with xbl no.
As a gamer homefront went by the way side for me because I'm currently Playing ME 2 for the PS3, dead space 2, BulletStorm, STFU 2, Lost Planet 2, and KZ3... Plus soon Infamous 2, will be coming out soon, and if I get the chance to Lord of Shadows.... Just way to many games to play
Honestly at first I was totally going to pass on this game, but what I have seen lately makes me want to play it. My only problem was I could never get on to the demo, I really hope the multiplayer works well it looks awesome.
@Invadersims is right no need to rush into a next gen of consoles when the ones that are out are still delivering
Why not compare Reach to Resistance 3, Oh wait I already know why... Resistance is a great franchise of games can't wait for number 3.
The uncharted franchise is a must have for any gamer. It is the main reason to buy a PS3.
Uncharted 3 2011 GOTY might as well hand Naughty Dog and Drake the award right now.
Gonna be a great year for PS3 gamers.
This is bad news for the core 360 gamer, and really I hope for there sake it isn't true, but hey go buy a PS3 sony isn't throwing everything into Move.
Isn't kinect 149.99, and also 360 and PS3 are basically in a battle for second place, and the 360 is losing considerable ground to the PS3 so saying that they beat sony is kinda wrong. They can't move on from the war with sony because they are not winning that war.
But I agree with one statement anyone, everyone should go and buy a PS3.
Not surprised don't they pretty much ignore the 360 all together.
I will not comment on the way the game looks, both versions are great visually. But content matters to me, and the ps3 version of ME2 has included for no extra cost a lot of the DLC that was paid for by 360 owner. And I'm sure it was worth it... the first Mass Effect was one of the main reasons I bought a 360(though I no longer own one)But free additonal content is the main reason the PS3 version is better if at least not on par with the 360 version. Plus mass effect 3 will be on both ...
Anyone got some extra money to lend me, so many great games coming out in 2011.
Second job here I come, but then I won't have time to play all the games, what to do.
i bet it still the top selling game this year.
