That's impressive for a umd. Most console games are less than 20 hrs now a days, so no matter what you think, you have to admit 30 to 40 hrs of game play on the psp is pretty damn good.
I agree with scruffy bear...I want to play this game, and hopefully it will have a nice 30 dollar price tag.
Hey MS pays top dollar for exclusive of any kind timed or not.
PS3 will probably get it after the game is released.

First the article sites Patcher=Fail... who knows how ligit it is.
I would not pay for a demo the way they are today, but if they offered like 3 levels of the game, then I might be willing to pay 5 dollars, but not 10-15...unless that 10-15 dollars also included some exclusive DLC should I decide to purchase the full game.
Since I never ever used them, No I won't miss them.
The last time I even pulled one out of it's case and flipped through it was FF 7, and that was a long time ago.(PSone)

This game will be on both systems, it is not a 360 exclusive.
I am a fan of MetalGear games, I've played almost everyone of them, and when it comes out(some time next year)I will pick it up for my PS3.
People keep talking crap about MGS4, and praise MGS:R. MGS4 was a great game and we will all be increadible lucky if they can deliever with MGS:R as well.
But just because the game will also be on 360 doesn't mean it will be crappy, and just because MGS 4 wasn't on the 3...
MGS:Rising will also be on the PS3 it's not like it's exclusive.

I've played almost every MetalGear, and I'm looking forward to seeing what they do with this one.
The Film industry will always be around, it still makes tons of money, and Avatar is the number one movie of all time and that wasn't even in theaters very long.
They may have done it all already, but they still do a good job.
So what if every action movie is basically the same thing, I still enjoy watching them. Films still can draw you in, and make you connect on an emotional level.

Game Informer images did look pretty cool, I want to find out more about it first.
I take offense! Anyone who has played video games for a period of time will probably be more intelligent because of it. Games are not for the stupid, some games puzzles are very challenging, and just figuring out what to do and where to go in some games can be a mind bender. Video games help with problem solving.
It's my opinion that gamers are among the smartest demographic.
I think it's a good thing, and I hope more devs do it. Save some trees, and all. I personally don't need the manuals anyway.

@knightdarkbox; did you actually look at the scores. it was 5 to 5.
5 PS3 games had a better score, and 5 360 games had a better score, but if you look at the scores some of the 360 games only won by .02 so isn't that really a tie. Plus some of the 360 games were multiplat(call of duty got the same score on PS3)
Just thinking to myself; Red Dead Redemption, Split Second, Lost Planet 2, UFC 2010, and Mod Nation Racers all also come out the same week as AlaN Wake or the week before or after... Just wondering if Alan Wake will be able to hold up against these titles.

It just turned 3 this year, and the bulk of it's life is till to come, games have gotten steadily better, and Bluray is outstanding.
PS3 will beat the 360 and come really close to the wii, if not surpass it.
