360 5 years on shelves equals a little over 8 million a year in sales.
PS3 3 years(just had it's bday) on shelves equals close to 11 million a year in sales. Plus the 360 sales are virtually dead everywhere but North America, but PS3 worldwide sales keep going up.
God of War 3 and GranTurismo 5 are going to help push more sales this year, plus there is no denying the popularity of Blu-ray, and PS3 is one of the best Blu-ray players on the market.

First I doubt either of you even played God of War so stop talking sh*t about it. Two Alan Wake was confirmed to be a mix of 540 and 720p, witch most likely means that the cgi cutscenes will be in 720, and the actual game play will be in 540. That is the only way I can see to mix them up like that, but that is what was said.

@ bots below... so what do you say about your declaine in sales steadily for the past 2 years? Or the fact that besides North America the 360 is getting owned buy both PSP and PS3, and in some places even PS2, oh that's right only NA sales matter; I forgot.
Talk about overkill, I'm not sure I'll be buying any of those games, but one things for sure I won't buy 3 of them in a 2 year time span.

If they do this they will charge more for it. They already said that it will either be a part of the "Platinum Service" if they do it, or charge a seperate fee for it.

You know they need to do something with this series, but turning it into an FPS is not the way to go, there are tons of FPS games out, and coming out. I think they should focus on making a great horror game, and try to make it avalible for all systems, then they might see that they don't need to make it an shooter.
