By 180 million copies sold, i believe they mean 180 million new computers were sold that shipped with vista, no one int heir right mind would go spend the price of a decent computer on an operating system that will be replaced in a years time
Think about it for a moment, the consoles werent released at the same time, in fact, a year apart. if you were to put them side by side (released same day) the playstation 3 would be in the lead. not only that but is microsoft counting RRoD'd 360s in their 'shipped' figures? 19 million minus 33% equals 12 million 730 thousand units shipped if they are including it in their figures
