true. GoW1 was so hyped up I played it and came away disappointed. I claimed for a long time that it sucked. I picked up GoW2 later thinking I'd give it another shot. Went in with no hype. Enjoyed it. Still playing it. Given, I think they definitely improved on every aspect that tried to improve on. But essentially it is GoW 1.5. Which is fine.

the environment and lighting is definitely better. The character's faces and hair don't look as good nor does the smoke effects. So having only 2 things to pick out that don't look as good as a CGI trailer. That is pretty f*cking impressive.
