If any of you have experienced the launch of DICE's Battlefield 4, you wouldn't be so eager to put your hard earned down on a pre-order for any future DICE product.

Go take a look at the current state of Battlefield 4, even 3 months since it's release before you get all pumped up for Mirror's Edge 2.

It could be the greatest game ever made, but you'd be a fool to part with your hard earned before you get confirmation of that going on DICE&...

I'm a big fan of the franchise, was a very long term WoW player.

Now I'm on the console, I want to get my MMO RPG fix where it's not been before on the Xbox one.

This will be the first big MMO offering on the new gen Xbox console and I'm very eager to get my hands on it.

I couldn't care less that this is sub based, if anything, that's a positive for me. I don't like the 'pay to win' model or experiencing a...

“The raw power of the today’s hardware really helped us maximize the immersion that the player experiences, working to fully ground them in [Garrett's] shoes,”

This gives me hope. I'm a huge fan of the franchise and watched it go through a number of dev hands and I haven't really seen a bad port on any platform thus far.

The power of next gen makes me quietly optimistic we might be seeing a solid return of this franchise, but I need hands on to k...

@Mikeyy

The dynamics of the gaming environment, the balance between the Titans and the Pilots, the AI inclusion on the battlefield, the Pilot mobility.

It's honestly fairly difficult to put into words an experience like this one, but it's a classic light bulb moment once you try it.

There's a public beta in a couple weeks. A lot of answers for those who haven't had hands on yet will be offered then.

But trust...

@adventureghost124

Well I HAVE played the game already mate and can tell you from first hand experience this FPS will blow the doors off anything on the market today.

This game is a system seller and no, I'm not a EA or MS shill. I mostly play Battlefield today, but once Titanfall arrives, I'm porting across.

There's nothing like it out there now and it plays *incredible*

This game will sell like hotcakes. I'...

Absolute rubbish amiga-man

It's barely 3 months since next gen launch and we're seeing the initial sales drive from PS4 that was pent up before release and after the E3 debacle.

Sure, the initial PS4 surge has them in front but if the last gen tells you anything, it's that you may 'win' the battle but lose the war.

Titanfall is yet to launch and MS have just secured rights for Gears.

The gamers will follow...

If the OP hates campers, he better avoid Battlefield 4 then. It's a snipers paradise and the game is littered with them. Mostly people sick of COD, but wanting to live out their camping dreams in a bigger environment.

But both COD and Battlefield I think have run their course

They're either stale (COD) or they're a laughably broken technical mess (Battlefield)

I think the FPS community at large are very hungry and eager for the ...

It's now approaching the 3 month mark after release and BF4 has as many issues today as it did near launch.

It's not running stable on any of the 5 platforms it was released.

Do yourself a favour and AVOID BUYING BATTLEFIELD 4

It's garbage.

I played and finished the first Dark Souls game on the Xbox 360 and felt it was one of the very best games of the entire generation.

The fact that Dark Souls 2 is currently not planned for the Xbox One though is honestly crushing.

With it being put out on the PC platform, I'd have thought porting it to the X1 would have been straight forward.

Maybe we can wait (and hope) for a future HD port to next gen?

I'm on the Xbox one and cannot begin to tell you how positive it is for us console based players.

Whilst the Playstation platform has enjoyed the MMO genre now for some time, it's been almost exlusively off limits for the Microsoft platform until this generation.

If they can get this right, ESO can create a solid fanbase on the X1 where there's pretty much no competition at all for a 'true MMO' today and won't be for quite a while.

Can you elaborate on that?

The World of Warcraft has been running on a sub model now for the best part of a decade.

It comes back to bang for buck. I personally don't have an issue with a subscription model at all if :

1 - Content delivery is regular and fresh
2 - Back end support is solid
3 - Service for the multiplayer environment is solid (as in server up time etc)

I played WoW for about 8 years and it changed completely from vanilla to the late...

Absolutely not.

I'm a self confessed Xbox junkie. I love my Xbox but I don't wade into the console war because it's counter productive.

I WANT the Playstation to be very strong! I WANT the WiiU to come back to market and be strong!

By having strong support for different platforms out there, ALL developers will be pushed to provide innovative ideas, new boundaries, cheaper costs and similar functionality in order to attract your ...

'Me too' is what the market delivers through competition and why Nintendo are having issues right now because they're not following the same path.

You need to understand that comparable functionality across multiple platforms is the breeding ground for further innovation and design boundaries being pushed.

It's a POSITIVE for all gamers, no matter who your chosen platform champion is.

Whilst it's fair to say there's a collection of indie titles that are honestly a sub par experience, you couldn't say all indie work doesn't deserve the light of day.

Some of the best, most innovative and enjoyable games of the last few years have grown from the indie scene and deserve the place on all platforms (not just Playstation and Xbox) to grow their support and encourage new developers into the scene.

Downplaying anyone's support f...

I want to see more positive coverage for the WiiU

After their recent sales slump, I don't want to see any of the big 3 fade away.

Strong market representation promotes health competition, which is always the biggest positive for gamers no matter what your favourite platform is.

Go Nintendo!

I've been running the Second Assault DLC on my Xbox one since Dec 22nd last year.

It's a buggy, glitchy mess, even after 2 major Xbox one patches.

People don't need to stress too much over this release for other platforms as it's still worse than the core game and China Rising on the platform it was first launched.

The map remakes are great, but it's absolutely not worth buying at the moment.

I've rolled the dice on this one and pre-ordered and pre-paid for the game.

I've been a very long time fan of this franchise and seen it pass through several hands.

The E3 demo had real promise, but clearly needed a little polish.

But in this area of big action FPS games, racing and sports, a stealth game of this calibre is a nice deviation.

I'm willing to give this one a shot.

Read the review.

I think you're being overly generous to this game.

It has flashes of glory, but was a bug filled, glitchy release with issues that are across every platform to varying degrees that months after release are not fixed.

The single player experience was awful and uninspiring, the server stability is poor at best, the balance issues are a laughing stock and the bugs and glitches range between comical to a game breaking mess. ...
