To be brutally honest, I've lost a lot of interest in this game.
Massive delays followed by a kick in the balls on frame rate as well as a monthly sub on top?
We have The Division, Destiny and possible Final Fantasy a Realm Reborn on the way to compete.
Not sure I could be bothered or give a damn about ESO anymore all things considered.
The more the bad news keeps rolling in, the less I give a damn about this release.
Acknowledging it 7 months after release is pointless.
The gamers who were conned into buying this trainwreck knew it day one and although there's been some improvements on the game over the last half year, it's still got issues and yet EA/DICE keep pumping out the paid for content.
You guys remember when DICE said they'd halt development across the board to get this game right?
What happened to that?
Meh, screw it...
Clickbait article.
Didn't read.
This is an EA game.
What did people honestly expect?
A QUALITY release?
HAHAHAHAHHAHAAHAHA
Don't be silly!
Because on the lead up to a new platform release they're going to say it's the worst or mediocre version?
Seriously, this is about as pointless an 'article' as one can write.
IMHO Frame rate > Resolution.
I'd much prefer gaming companies aim for the frame rate goals over res. Most people can't tell the difference between 900p and 1080p anyway, but they'll nearly always see the difference between 30 and 60fps.
Nothing breaks game immersion more than a slow/choppy frame rate and I couldn't care less what the 'experts' say there, you can easily tell the difference between 30fps and 60fps when you look at i...
I applaud the vision and effort Visceral have here on delivering a quality product but it won't alter for a second the fact I won't pre-order this and won't buy day one.
Visceral just need to accept the fact that DICE / EA have pretty much ruined the reputation of the Battlefield franchise in a way Colonial Marines ruined the Alien franchise and no words or assurances will do a thing to alter people's perceptions.
You just need to produce qual...
Oh christ we're back to clickbait bullshit like this again are we?
Thumbs down, did not read.
I'd love to see a return of Looking Glass Studios for a DECENT Thief game or perhaps a reboot of the System Shock franchise.
That would be flat out awesome :)
This is why I love Xbox. They bring the games, games and more games.
This one has a nostalgic air to it and rather than produce something crap and slap a well known name on it to turn a profit, this one actually does look good.
Can't wait to see more
Yeah, not interested in this one sorry. The game is still having issues and this will be the 4th DLC since release.
EA/DICE have been solidly focused on delivering payable content whilst the core game experience has had issues since day one which still languish.
I have no doubt plenty will still buy this though, but I personally took my copy of Battlefield back to the game store and used it for trade in credit, that's how much I think of this game.
Whilst No Man's Sky shows a lot of promise, especially for an indie, I'm definitely worried the community is over hyping this game beyond what it will end up being and as a result, disappoint many.
FYI DICE was bought out by EA back in 2006.
DICE ARE EA now.
It will fail because of the stain left on the Battlefield franchise after BF4's release.
The gamers have more FPS options now and can afford to be critical of their spending dollars.
Battlefield 4 has done for the Battlefield franchise name what Colonial Marines did for Aliens.
If the devs of this game had any sense at all, they wouldn't even dream of allying themselves with the Battlefield franchise name.
Mud sticks,...
Because this dude has no vested interest in this at all... right?
In a sea of shooters on console nowdays it really does take something special to grab a foot in that market.
It looks conceptually like a fun game, but a little one dimensional for my tastes.
I probably won't get this, there's too many other shooters out there and ones that appeal to my tastes more to want to invest in another one.
3rd game revealed at the 2014 Sony E3 press event turns out to be crap.
Says it all.
"Now the dust has settled... did Nintendo really win E3?"
No. People are only claiming that because MS clearly won over Sony this year and many of those Sony faithful fans would rather ally with another competitor than admit defeat.
MS learned from 2013 and came out with their A game with 90 minutes straight of awesome games.
Sony did a 2013 MS, but the fans cannot admit it.
They'd rather side with Nintendo tha...
Loving the sales... we have a LOT of next gen stuff coming later this year, it's a great time to clean out the backlog!
I had this on the Xbox 360 and it was a great port.
But I bought it again on the Xbox one and have to say it's the best place to play it.
It's smooth, pretty and in line with the PC version. Add in the dodge mechanic and the ease of play with a console controller, it feels like a game born to be played on Console.
If you haven't played this yet or even bought it on PC or last gen, I definitely urge you to get it again on Next Gen...
