It’s not that they don’t care about console wars, it’s that differences in grap have become relatively undetectable between different consoles. The difference between playing Call of Duty BO 6 on a PS5 Pro at 1080p versus an XSS at 1080p is insignificant to anybody but the video game aficionado.
Nintendo will continue to charge 80 bucks for their twenty-year-old games and fans will continue to line up and droves to buy them. This is because Nintendo knows what they got is special. I think I am about to become a Nintendo fanboy. I’ve been getting down on the SNES with Super Mario Brothers 3 since 1995 anyways so hey, if the shoe fits. Is there any kind of gamerscore equivalency with Nintendo like how Xbox has with its achievement system?
I agree with you Andy. I think that the face of a video game company equates to the protagonists of the exclusive video games. I do feel like the protagonist of Nintendo games are starting to mature and grow. Zelda just got her own game in the form of echoes of wisdom and Mario is literally getting his own entire theme park in real life. Phil, admit you were wrong by abandoning exclusive games immediately and reverse course. Everybody makes mistakes. It’s not a big deal.
