all xbox360 titles allow background downloading, obviously if your playin on live they stop to provide optimum connection.

to be honest, im pretty sure dvd had done well before ps2 came on the scene. the vast amount of advertisements for dvd on vhs movies and on tv. i got my ps2 at launch,nearly a year and a half after having a dvd player. i think this debate was had on the forums before regarding that. i hope the best product wins, which normally doesnt really happen. At the minute i see both as pretty even. But i totally disagree that it is good news for the ps3. for sony yes, but for a games console, no. Like if you have chosen a format for games, why would you care about how the format is doing for movies?

this is innovation, noone can deny that this is not a brilliant idea. i think its can really progress and has lots of potential to be an amazing utility. I have an ipod and its brilliant but i know more and more people who are sick of their ipods brilliant and they want somethin new and innovative. Unfortunately i dont think the current zunes are just that, but as new generations are produced the full potential will be realised, much like the system the ipod has undergone

i think the wii has went the right way about doing it. Either go no holds barred or dont. like i never listen to anythin ea says. but i would think for console gaming, motion control would be quite frustrating and limiting in these type of games. dont get me wrong, i u can do whatever u like with the ps3 motion controlling. i jus think its good devs dont have to use the ps3s, and i hope microsoft wont feel pressured into bringin back something like the sidewinder.
