I game at 60fps because I don't have a monitor with higher hz at 1440p. And I don't want to go back to 1080p on PC :/
I'll likely just wait to upgrade to a 4K/60 monitor in a couple years.
Game looks great. My girlfriend is supposedly getting me an Xbox One and this will be the first game I play on it.
I'm running MSi 980s in SLI right now. I'm looking at my next upgrade sometime after Pascal releases. I want to see if it will be all it's hyped up to be, and the cost of course.
Lol yup, people are gonna be flocking to this one for sure and will be on this site's top articles for a bit.
I'm getting an Xbox One this holiday for RoTR. I have a PS4 and a pretty good gaming PC already but I want to play RoTR this year because I am a bit impatient and although there are many games coming out this holiday only a couple interest me (RoTR being one of them, and I'm not getting Fallout 4 because I'm not into Fallout but boy did I really try to like it). And for Forza 6. Also there are other titles on the horizon for Xbox One that I want to play such as Quantum Break. I wo...
Lol this guy again.
Part of me is jealous. He talks out of his ass but I bet he makes good money doing it, more than I make doing my job surely.
I agree the story for me is the biggest thing about it but I recommend you give it a shot, if not to just see it through to the end. It also plays well. It's like a fully-realized, console-quality Peacewalker. And actually some of the issues I had with Peacwalker are some of the same I had with MGS5...lol still, MGS5 is good game just not a great MGS, at least in my opinion but I think there was some interesting things going on in the story. Overall the ending satisfied me enough, though ...
I've played every MGS and loved them. MGS5 does indeed play the best. Overall it's a great game to me but not a great Metal Gear Solid, if that makes sense. Putting the story in the background (compared to other MGS games) and showcasing the improved gameplay and open world definitely helps I think to attract people who may not have cared about the MGS story or maybe felt overwhelmed by it. They can play it for the gameplay and hear the story but not necessarily feel obligated to care...
After seeing it at TGS I am now very interested. Seems right up my alley.
Got 'eeeem
Hopefully they just sell off their IPs, but I doubt it. They'll probably just end up torturing beloved franchises by making them all mobile.

I just want support for VRAM stacking available in future games using DX12 on PC
This is the first thing I remember when I hear some Japanese people being vocal about characters or people they consider 'ugly'
Wow, just wow. Opinions are like assholes but damn, I can't believe myself for actually reading this entire comment. Granted I've seen similar things from Sony and Nintendo fanboys.
Smh...fanboys are alike all over.
I was holding out hope for Guile, Q, Zangief and Urien and it's looking like they aren't happening in the initial roster. :/
Hopefully this game gets some recognition when GOTY nominees roll around. It would be deserved
I was thinking the same thing as I was playing. The engine is so well optimized across everything. No one should be disappointed with their version. And the 60fps I hear rarely drops on consoles. I'm playing on PC and I can say that I have not seen it dip even one frame in my 30 hours of playing (I keep my fps counter on in the top right corner)
You may be referring to the PC using subsurface scattering, which is supposed to make the facial details look more natural. The Xbox One version I believe doesn't have this so although that version shows more 'cragginess' on faces it's actually not as natural a look when subsurface scattering is used. Some people like that look though and consider it better/more detailed since they can see each crag on their face and skin. I don't though. I prefer when subsurface scatterin...
Agreed
Well said.
