I won't be ridiculous with this one... but, and excuse me if I am not well read on Warhawk, but aren't there no reviews yet of this? I just watched the most recent videos with an open mind.
Doesn't this look like a mix between Battlefield 2 and Quake Arena? No? Sorry to offend - really I am. But shouldn't you all wait for reviews prior to salivation? I'll give you all Heavenly Sword, I'd love to play that.

Claiming that HD DVD is 'dead' is like saying Lamborghini is 'dead' because Ferrari sold 7 more cars this year. We're dealing with very low volumes right now... Blu-Ray got a surge in sales, because of PS3 owners. The HD market isn't large enough for there to even be a de facto winner... we can argue all we want, but at the end of the day Americans still have VCR's and 22" Tube TV's.

Screw it, Microsoft should start offering $100 rebates for the HD Drive and start buying the movie studios that support blu-ray. They really want to secure marketshare? If PS3 doesn't have any Blu-Ray movies... we all know it doesn't have any games... it wouldn't have a leg to stand on.

Because you are claiming that a blockbuster franchise, with more pre-orders than there are PS3 owners is a failure... while comparing it to a game that you've seen only videos for... and the first Killzone sucked if you don't remember.

Jesus, it's so easy to please everyone. So far there's only a grand total of 4 (lame) ideas:
1. Demo
2. PS3
3. Wii
4. Multiplayer (which would be cool if it were co-op)

How about some new ideas? Think outside the box for a minute or two:
1. What if you can play the game from the perspective of different characters? They've put a ton of time/effort...

New demos don't 'always' take long to DL. Eternal Sonata came down the second it came out, quickly too. Demos get stuck, or stop DL'ing when there is an issue server-side. Not a flood of bandwidth. Besides, it hit like at 5:00 a.m. Eastern time... not really 'peak' as some demos hit the market primetime in the evening (hasn't happened for awhile unfortunately). If the demo is going to get stuck in the pipeline, it's going to happen later when everyone can DL. Not in the early a.m.

I was getting a little concerned (based stupidly on the beta) that this was going to be just a better looking Halo 2. Now I am definitely getting Halo 3 - just for the 4 player co-op alone it is worth it.

DarthBillBoy seems to be one of a few people who has actually read the articles regarding the technology behind GTA. RAGE is for the GRAPHICS, while Euphoria will be used as a backend Interaction/Physics engine.
RAGE has serious potential... but in my opinion; Graphics aren't even half the battle - we need realistic phsycis & interaction. This is where Euphoria comes into play. This engine will blow the hinges off of Havok and I can't wait to see it in action.
What was that??? Haha. The concept has potential, Little Big Word/Planet looks a lot more fun though.
