It sounds interesting because I didn't know that is was possible to have a analog/digital on the same output. I say that because on everywhere that i've seen; graphics cards, the back of hd tv's and even computer monitor inputs has 2 different types of inputs/outputs.

So when has it been a disadvantage to develop games through caching methods? For example look how well the first halo did when it seamlessly passed through huge levels with roughly no loading times.
And as far as the DX10 thing, it is a known fact that this specific upgrade is needed for the effects created in Crysis.

It doesn't matter if it could fit on an hd dvd disc, it's not format that any gaming console uses. That's why they say it.

That's a retarded thing to say. If you didn't know, blu ray uses the same compression techniques found HD DVD players. To further your knowledge, Blu ray can use VC-1, mpeg2 and mpeg/H.264.

The point is, the 360 has no standard HD. Meaning if the makers of Crysis ever wanted to port the game to a consoles then the ps3 would be the choice. I say this b/c HD is standard on the ps3 (core/premium) and players could download the dx10 software that is needed for the game.
Should PS3 fans worry about their load times? I don’t think so as this is still higher than Playstation 2’s read speed, and since the hard drive is standard on Playstation 3, this will be large motivation for developers to use hard drive caching methods as a standard feature to avoid load times wherever they may be present.

So when I decide to buy a 360 in 2007 to get Halo 3, I might as well wait 2 more years to buy the 720, right??
