This game looks amazing, I can't wait to try it.
What's going on with Ghostbusters anyway? First they lose the publisher, next there's no news about anyone else taking over, and now the pre-orders are cancelled? Something's up.
An Elite for $399 is pretty appetizing, but I think I'd prefer for it to drop down to $350 before I take the plunge and upgrade.
Hehe. I think those fives and sixes on the review scores are definitely a bigger issue.
I agree, hopefully it'll find its way out somehow, it just looks like such a great game, it would be a shame if it somehow slips through the cracks.
Maybe it's just because I am a gamer, but I don't really see the stereotypes as applicable anymore. Gaming has become so mainstream that it's like trying to come up with a stereotype for people who like movies; at this point the hobby is just too broad.
This franchise has been in such a funk. Things have been getting better recently though with Legend and Anniversary, so hopefully Underworld continues the upward trend.
I hear that, that stupid spear, oh how I hate it. It's even worse than the chocobo baloon race from FF X where you had to finish in 0 seconds or less, at least you couldn't get three-quarters of the way and then fail to get the weapon because you hadn't been reading a strategy guide since the moment you popped the disc in.
I agree, so much has been done on the 260 version that canning it now would be a massive loss for the developers. Still though, the Sony Pictures ownership gives me pause...
That seems pretty clear to me too, I don't know how the Kotaku story got such traction. Still though, I wish Sony would just come out and say something so we don't even have to worry about it anymore.
I'm excited for this one, I've been wating for another great boxing game ever since Super Punch Out
I've been enjoying this one ever since I picked it up. I just wish they hadn't cut back so much on the Campus Legend mode, it's pretty underwhelming.
After the mild failure of Lego Indy I'm hoping this redeems the franchise. Lego Star Wars is still one of my favs from the last gen.
Same here, I don't even know if my computer can run Spore, but I'm willing to give it a try.
Every time I think I've settled on platform, something pulls me back into the fray. I love the way Rock Band sets up its notes and songs, but GH is really innovating on the instruments. Gah, so hard!
Sounds like he's just mad because back when he was a publisher his games didn't get perfect scores. Olin has no idea how the journalism side of the industry works.
I like the streamlined approach to the genre, it might actually work on a console for a change.
I don't just want this game, I need it.
The industry still wants E3, just a different E3. It used to be too large, now it's too small, there really needs to be some sort of compromise for a mid-sized show, at a new venue, that is open to the public for at least a day or two. That would likely revive this dying show.
I'm not a huge Pumpkins fan, but it's still cool they're releasing a new single this way.
