Hehe, a discussion of Oprah fanboyism really would have rounded things out. As it stands though, I'm a bit partial to the PS3 myself even though I own all the consoles and handhelds. Sony just has some strange voodoo power over me I guess.
If the Ghostbusters game spawns a new movie I'll be excited, otherwise I'll just wait and see...

I'd like to see this suddenly deep game in action. Everything I've seen so far just makes it feel like baby's first rhythm game.
Seems like a good core group there, hopefully they are able to put out some quality games. They've already won over Activision so they must be doing something right.
Love this game, though I wish they had spelled out progression a little more clearly. I'm not really sure what I need to do to unlock new songs...

Seems like Nintendo could just ride the Wii wave for 10 more years. They could be the only true "ten year lifecycle" console because it's going to take that long for them to catch up with demand. No reason for them to rush out a new console.
I'm not looking forward to CoD going back to WWII. I was so excited when we finally got past that with Modern Warfare, and now it's right back into the same old thing. Oh well, I guess it was too much to ask for the original gameplay ideas to stay original.
Love this game, too bad it makes my thumbs so sore! But hey, it's a good ol' fashioned beat-em-up, and all that nostalgia is pretty nice.

I normally skip the collector's editions, but I've found myself spending the extra for the Fallout 3 special edition. So from time to time it's worth it.
The screenshots of the game look nice, but I'll reserve judgement until I see it live. I want it to be great, but I'm worried about getting my hopes up.

I loved this game, and it got my wife into the Civ series, so it's a win all around.
Same here, I was really disappointed when EA closed the Chicago location because it seemed like the franchise died that day. Good to see it's going to keep on kicking.
I'm alright with new Halo Achievements. I usually play at least once a week with a group of friends, so it would be fun to get some rewards for all our fragfests. Thankfully, no one I play with asks you to do stupid stuff like stand there and let him asssassinate you so he can get his Achievement. Nope, when we play you've gotta earn it.
