@BLKxSEPTEMBER
It has been well established that better sales does not automatically mean better quality, then again quality can be subjective. Personally I'd prefer an open world action game to a repetitive claustrophobic shooter, as would many others.
Speaking of sales, I would be very much surprised if Infamous outsells Titanfall considering the latter is available on two extra platforms. It will hardly be this year's top dick measuring contest.
Being published by EA makes me very apprehensive.
@JeffGUNZ
I could be wrong but wasn't it made clear that family share was time limited, one hour I believe?
As for what PC gamers are doing now, is not entirely the same. Publishers would be selling digital content through Microsoft only, thereby leaving one single point to purchase where prices would not need to be competitive, although Amazon would have helped a little there.
PCs have Steam, GOG, Green Man, Gamefly and Amazon among many...
Not too sure about that, I vaguely remember the interviews regarding Ghosts where they said that they had gone all out to improve it more than any other version to date.
For me at least the hype is gone, they'll need to build it again if possible to regain the same interest.
Please let "Doing an EA" become a common term for anti-consumer practices.
Well done Ubisoft, you've lost a day one sale from me, I'll now wait till it's cheap on sale or pre-owned.
It's early days yet and comparing sales figures with a generation that more than likely had a smaller gaming community is meaningless. With that said you really should be looking at this like an investor.
In recent reports the the Ps4 has been outselling the Xbox One 2:1 in a market (US) that the Xbox 360 dominated compared to Ps3. It's a reversal that will have investors concerned and a situation that will lose Microsoft much of the influence they enjoyed last generation. <...
Have you noticed that nearly every console is outselling it's predecessor in launch window comparisons?
Would it be hard to believe that this is due to expansion of the gaming community?
Just look at the widening gap between the youngest and oldest age groups that regularly game. With that in mind sales numbers are meaningless, market share is. Personally I don't see the Xbox brand going anywhere soon, although Microsoft may let go, but it's absu...
Competitive multilayer.............eSports .
Nope, don't see it myself.

Can somebody please stop the planet, I want to get off.
@mhunterjr
You carry on then sunshine, I on the other hand will stay with the camp that will fight microtransactions so you don't have an ever depleting choice in games.
How accepting would you be if every game had microtransactions, and forced you to grind or pay up?
If you are accepting of them now, then you are part of the problem.
Gamers have been waiting three years for innovative games with Kinect. The innovation should have been there day one.
Personally I think the time has passed for Microsoft to prove Kinects worth outside of UI navigation, fitness and dance games. They shouldn't be given anymore slack, deliver what was promised now or drop it.
There is that word again - potential.
Kinect has been on the market over 3 years now, and the only practical potential I have seen is non gaming related. Isn't it about time we all let go and accepted that it isn't the Messiah of gaming?
Likely to be a firewall issue with Starbucks.
If it improves on the formula I personally don't have an issue.
Whether they have a planned ending or not is meaningless. Spawn for example has always had a planned ending, but it's now into its 22nd year with no ending in sight.
The only outcome I suspect is that the series will die out without a proper finale.
Doctor Who has a massive following, more so in the UK obviously, but since the relaunch in 2005 the fanbase is now global.
Yes, I do believe you have missed something.
People really need to get a grip on themselves, not everything has to have multiplayer.
Besides which I have 13 titles on my ps4 9 of which have some form of multiplayer, so I believe it's more than covered.
