Shame we don't see more articles like this.
I'll give them all a miss, I've got shooter fatigue.
I can't help thinking that the multitude of doom articles that have plagued the internet have not helped in this situation. Imagine if you're not all that clued up and jump on the net for some advice and you're bombarded with articles claiming that the Vita is good but it's doomed to oblivion. Not going to instil you with confidence is it?
I admit that Sony haven't exactly come out guns blazing, but the so called game and tech loving press have really deli...
Please explain what you clowns are disagreeing to.
I get the impression you're not a Nintendo fan.
I could be wrong of course.
Why won't that semicolon go away?
Joy! It's that time of the month again......
3.....2.....1.........Let' ;s play sales.
Although looking back at that comment I could do with some help myself.
If they want to be taken seriously then they could at least learn spell and construct a sentence properly.
This guy sounds like he's nursing a semi for the iOS.
Great idea, as long as the fanboyism is left out. Let's have a site we can all be proud of.
Damn, you beat me to it.
Here's the thing, you will always upset someone no matter what and most people accept that. But what this clown is doing is upsetting an established fanbase and saying he doesn't care. With that kind of attitude, it will only escalate the situation.
Now, this may turn out to be a great game, but if you are going to take the pretentious artist route instead of trying to calm the storm then you aren't going to win any fans.
I'm not defending the...
Don't care huh? Well good luck getting finance for your next project if it bombs.
Nintendo are the architects of their recent dip, not smartphones or tablets. They did well to penetrate a market that wasn't particularly interested in gaming, yet they rested on their laurels and expected to retain that market. It's only so long you can hang on to those that follow the "in" thing. Apple may be in for a shock eventually for exactly the same reason.
They'll do fine though as they do have a loyal fanbase, although they'll find it diffic...
Well he would say that while he's working for Zynga.
Now, if what he says is true and we'll see less and less big budget games then I'll have no choice but to choose another hobby.
"For years, we in the gaming press have been decrying the series, growing increasingly grumpy at the series' almost belligerent insistence on stagnation."
Eeeermm! No you haven't. It's been a free pass and a well done for keeping it the same every year.
Mouse, touchscreen or analogue stick? Well I know which one I could quite happily do without.
Clue: Not the mouse or stick.
Yeah, it's popular, doesn't mean it's great.
Would you consider Bieber to be the pinnacle of musical greatness?
No, I don't like it and no I won't buy it, for the fourth year in a row. But, here's the catch, I used to love it and want to again so I will read the news on it and I will comment if I feel the need. Unfortunately the developers still aren't addressing issues that have disappointed many gamers for years now, so until the...
How do you solve a problem like the gaming press?
It seems to me that the only company immune to the doom mongers is Apple. It's ludicrous.
