Your comment was filled with such anger. The little .01 firmware updates aren't going to postpone 2.40. The little .01s only come when they're needed. 2.40 will most likely be the Firmware after 2.36.
...always went like that than that would mean we've had 235 firmware updates so far. Of course we haven't had 235 updates. They just release a Firmware with a .01 added to it when they have a small update. They skip all those little .01s all the time. Thats not how it will go down. They don't go out of their way to make .01 updates just to fill in between updates.
It will go 2.36 then 2.40. Its not like we've had 35 firmware updates all in .01 increments since 2.00 you know.
That is unlike the Wii. Is that this remains solely as an option. We will still enjoy the same Playstation gaming we love but we have this option. They could do more with it. The games will be in HD. I'm interested in seeing exactly what they have. Nobody seems to settle on exactly what they have with this. It may not be just a Wiimote knockoff. I don't think it will be.
What the hell do you think E3 is for? Its to show more on games we know are coming and to unveil new games along with other new stuff. E3 is usually the show that packs all the surprises. Sony or either other company isn't going to put out a press release listing everything they're going to show/announce. This list is just what Sony is confirming that they're showing.

I'm sure its wrong also. It doesn't have a date until Sony officially announces the Firmware on the Official Blog. Even then they will just say "soon" and never give a date. How you doing? Anyway, Sony didn't delay sh!t (besides Home). They have never said it would come in June. The only official anything said Summer and its still Spring last time I checked. July would be Summer though so right on schedule I guess.
Its slated for October. It could change but the October date is more official than this.
I don't know but you get a better deal if you get it with Socom. I'd guess like $40 for the headset alone. Thats how it was with the Jabra that came with Warhawk.

They may have had it in there the old way and changed it because of in-game XMB with its custom soundtracks. They know that we will have the firmware soon and I guess they plan to patch it. This might have been another reason (besides "trophies") that they were pushing Sony to release the new Firmware(2.40) before MGS4 launched.

We have received these little .01 updates about a week or two before a significant update before. It probably will be July but July is only a couple of weeks away.
I don't know why people think this update affects 2.40. It won't. There are other things that might affect it but its not a .01 update.
