Kinda like with MGS4 and how they removed being able to listen to your own music on the iPod. I'm guessing the rumored custom soundtracks in 2.40 may be the cause. I don't know but thats what I'm thinking.

Kinda like how it was removed from MGS4 where you could listen to music on your HDD using the in game iPod. It must have something to do with the custom soundtracks coming in 2.40. ...a Pain post on the PS Blog earlier. I read the first half of it and clicked "read more" and I got an error. Now its not on the Blog anymore. I don't know what happened. I guess they took it down. The part I read was just the dude that does the posts about Pain saying how it had been a long time since he last posted. Didn't get to read the rest.
Skips through Firmware numbers all the time. They just add a .01 to whatever number we're on when its a minor update. They will skip from 2.36 to 2.40 because 2.40 is a significant update.
Yeah I know those disagrees just hurt so bad. lol. I just figured I'd let you know in case you were wondering why the hell someone disagreed with you.
We may get it about a week or so before E3 and Sony will just talk about it at E3. They announced it on the Blog so theres no point in them announcing it again.
It will skip all those. I don't know why everyone thinks this. If Sony did it like that than that would mean we just got our 236th update. We haven't had 236 updates. They don't make little .01 updates just to fill in between significant updates. The .01 updates just come whenever. They're not going to hold off on 2.40 just so they can squeeze in a few more .01 updates. Thats never been how it works.
By the way I expect 2.40 will come out in July. Within the next 30 days or so. ...
...stability. It doesn't add any features I know but I still think its worth downloading. You can't play online until you update anyway. I was just curious as to why you didn't want to update.
It won't come out next week. At least 2 or 3 weeks I'd say. Some game must have been causing stability problems. They've released a lot of these little updates over time. They release these when they're ready and Sony must think we need this update now. 2.40 will probably be out within the next 30 days or so I'd say. 2.40 just isn't ready yet.
Would you want to wait. What difference would it make?
I had no idea John Candy was almost in Ghostbusters. I wish Rick would have done the game. I understand his reasons for not wanting to do another movie but I wouldn't want someone else doing my character if I was him. Oh well. I still think the Ghostbusters game is going to be pretty good.
