Exactly. ppl don't understand the concept that some online FPS are team orientated. Sure twitch gaming is fun and running around Rambo style for 30 minutes a day relieves stress but not all FPS are like that.
as soon as i here someone say BC2 sucks i instantly know they are not a team player and prefer the rambo style of COD.
BF2 and the upcoming BF3 is all about teamwork sure you can run off but you won't make it very far.

First off why does he have to buy a Nvidia based GPU PC? AMD/Ati GPu are just as good if not better and cheaper and they give you a choice of what 3D software you want to use.

seriously most PC gamers love to use NEW technology therefore downloading a game on Steam and saving a ton of cash versus going to some store where the PC games are all the way in the back, behind a curtain, in what amounts to a closet next to the stores returned and damaged merchandise, only to have a selection that consist of Warcraft, sims, Modern warfare 1 2 and blops, monopoly, and railroad tycoon.

AMD and Nvidia cherry pick what screen resolution they wanna perform better at and also it really depends on if the game has AA on and all special effects.
Many benchmarks are not reliable. I only look at benchmarks from Hardware Canucks because they ALWAYS use MAX Graphics, all special effects on and they use 8xAA 16 AF across the 4 main resolutions thus giving a true ideal of a cards performance.

There are several thousand games that take full advantage of this card. this card runs everything maxed out even above 1920 x 1080 resolution.
The main reason for this card is to game on multiple monitors but if you were a PC gamer you would know that!
if your gonna game on lets say 3 30" Dell monitors this is the card you need to get max performance.

The last innovative thing they did was Web TV way back in the day but they didn't stick with it, now Google is all over it. I will say that nothing beats Windows 7.

The xbox 360 in the beginning was easy money. grab an unreal engine SDK, make a game, make some money. Plus M$ was handing out cash for DLC like candy but now a lot of developers wanna make a name for themselves, or they now have the cash to make that "Classic" studio defining title so concentrating on the PS3 is the new trend as it has proven to offer up the most power on the console plus it has a more diverse buyer.

I agree with your second and third game theory but still KZ3 and MGS4 were great graphically right out the gate. Some Devs have the talent and dedication while others just try to float buy.
Activision and EA have more cash than anybody, hell most of them combined but COD is still using the same Unreal Engine variant. At least EA does a lot with animation and mo-cap so they get a pass but Activision has no excuse for blops PS3.

Crysis ran poorly because DX10 is not that great. Crysis was like one of the first DX10 game to really pushed DX10. It suffered from optimization problems plus the fact that DX10 is just DX9 with so much crap dropped on top of it.
DX11 fixes all the problems with DX10 likie making it more streamline plus adds new features thus making optimization a lot easier for developers.
