Yeah. I'd really believe that BS coming from xbox.com of all places. Sometimes I think the XBox was created by fanboys and computer geeks. This whole my computer is better than yours because it has X amount of ram, X graphics card, X high speed super power processor. If you think about it, I could see most PC gamers jumping on MS's system since it shares so much architecture with the PC along with that egotistic mentality about having the most powerful stuff in your case so much so that they ...
They already pulled it off according to ign.com's preview several days ago.
Brave Arms definitely does not look like the other two. Those graphics look awesome! They don't look anime to me. They remind me of silent hill style character models with way better graphics(In relation to Second and Chain). I don't see new style games like these on the 360, just a bunch of FPSs. At least these developer are trying something new, so don't knock it till you've tried it.
If you go over to IGN's preview of this game they state
"Tecmo said that it has just recently managed to implement full 1080p support into the game, and at a full 60fps to boot. Yes, this is one slick-looking title."
How sweet is that?! I definitely can't wait for this game to come out!
These pics are all old anyways.
It's funny that some 360 owners are commenting about the boss in this video. It's a montage of old videos from past showings at different game conferences. Of course you all wouldn't know this because this game didn't mean jack until you heard it was coming to 360. Why it's coming to PC is beyond me. Guess MS will profit from that too since they slipped more bills in Capcom's g-string.
I can understand Capcom porting this game to 360, but PC? I'm really beginning to question the quality of this installment before it's release. That's three different development platforms, but I know MS definitely slipped Capcom some funds. What other company besides Capcom would benefit from the game on PC? Answer: MS They're basically reaping twice the profit off of a previously exclusive PS3 game.
This game looks freakin unbelievable!
I definitely feel those games will more than compete with Halo 3 and Mario. You forgot about Killzone 2. We still have Ninga Gaiden Sigma coming out as well as Heavenly Sword due around that time.
Can't wait to play this bad boy.
I'm surprised as well. It looks like I was wrong. It's shaping up to be a really awesome fighter. I would like to see some examples as to how the stages can be used to one's benefit. The game is only 15% completed? I can't wait to see how much it will improve.
Come on , Namco. Aside from the new characters, the old chracters still have the same animations that have been used forever and forever. They could have at least applied the Aegia(sp) Physics engine or something. Those environments better be interactive some what like DOA4. I've been dying to see what this game looks like after its hiatus from E3'06, and this is it? They have a lot of improving to do. I agree with Genki, I was blown away when I saw Tekken Tag. Tekken 5 was a big improvem...
I think you all forgot about that. VF5 has an arcade machine and Japanese players build up their characters on it and haved been doing so for the past year. Thus, they would stick to playing in the arcades than playing it on the PS3 since they can't transfer those player profiles. DOA4, however, DOES NOT have an arcade component. It was made and released for the 360 console only. DOA3 was the same way for the XBox. That ladies and gentlmen is the only reason that VF5 for the PS3 is off to a...
Gee sherlock, maybe people who have a PS3 and not a 360 will buy it. So SEGA screwed the PS3 owners by making the 360 version online. They'll probably do the same thing with VF5. I hate SEGA for doing this, but what are you gonna do?
EA BIG made this game didn't they? I like the previous ones in the series. I wish they kept it like that. I'm not really feeling this whole DJ thing with the analogues and environments jumping. I just want a straight up brawler.
"Reviews DO NOT determine AAA status for a game.... Sales do"
Now, that's funny. When RFOM was released, you 360 fanboys say it wasn't a AAA title; yet It got higher reviews than Lost Planet. You 360 fanboys heralded Lost Planet as a AAA title. Now that it got mediocre reviews, it's still a AAA title? That's hypocritical, very hypocritical.
The Japanese have something called loyalty to their native brands. Go to Japan. How many gas guzzling suvs and trucks do you see? Those are almost nonexistent there. The Japanese favor their brands over foreign brands. Just like they favor Honda over Chevy. MS has to learn that money can't solve everything. I remember when IGN posted that MS wanted to buy out Nintendo and SEGA before entering the console business with the original Xbox. That's just pathetic. That's the MS solution to ever...
I think the reason a lot of MS fanboys are angry Kojima's comment about a bigger blu-ray disk is simple. His comment is in a sense reiterating that there is a less and lesser chance that MGS4 will come to 360. Let's say that MGS4 comes in at 32gigs. That would require at least 4 DVDs for the 360 port.
A lot of you naysayers keep saying the PS3 GPU is outdated and not as advanced as the 360's. Do you guys have any proof? Do you have the final specs on the PS3 GPU? Basing it on some comparable Nvidia GPU doesn't cut it since you don't know if it's truly based on said GPU. Nvidia even stated that the GPU in the PS3 was custom designed to work with the Cell.
Awesome doesn't begin to describe this game. The in-game footage looks CG!
