you can classify halo as being milked until its no longer fun for people. once there are so many sequels and spinoffs that everyone groans once a new title is announced, that is a milked franchise

japanese devs may not have cutting edge tech, but games like NIER have a certain magic to them that western devs cant seem to match. western games are alot like hollywood. tehy play it safe and only release sequels and spinoffs of existing ip's and are afraid to take chances on games that push boundaries

because i love that game, too, but the strategy involved in it is almost none. im talking about having a warrior tank, mage, maybe a rogue all in a party together, tank in front dealing heavy damage, mage throwing buffs on allies, or negative effects on enemies, while your rogue steals rare loot from them all at the same time. fallout is basically go into vats, headshot, headshot headshot. . .
