people smear it because it sucks. if it had awesome games, everyone would shut up. but it doesnt. it has dance central, and kinectimals. woo-hoo. oh wait, fitness games too. as if its at all necessary to pay 150 bucks plu the cost of a game to do sit ups. news flash! in the end, you're still doing sit ups or push ups or whatever
that sounds like more your type of game
msoft didnt want to call it xbox 2, because it would be competing with the ps3, and number-wise wouldve looked inferior.
your little sister has games to play when you hand down ur 360 when the new xbox hits
streams games to a set top box, while all the workload is handled by onlive
games on demand, you actually download the game and play it from your hard drive.
because he couldnt have possibly enjoyed the damn game. . .
i just cant relate personally, because i enjoy all games (besides sports). even if they arent terribly original, i usually devour every game that comes out. HOORAY for gaming!!!!!
"Kinect effectively ruined my experience with Child of Eden. It was a great idea in theory; play a shooter where you aim with you hands, change weapons by clapping, and launch bombs by stretching both arms in the air. I would have loved that. It could have been total body immersion into the game world. What I got instead was a total backfire. As it turns out, poorly implemented full body only work to make the player constantly aware of their body, and the frustrations that they are exper...
had the one of the best soundtracks i've ever heard. one of the few games where i'd go to certain areas just to hear the music. Junk Heap FTW
it just means that you no longer enjoy video games
EDIT so what games DO you like?
you cant look anywhere without seeing her face. . .
"Differences in the visual make-up of the game are slight - unnoticeable for most part"
"The comparison movie proves that there's effectively nothing between the two games from a graphical perspective"
yeah. . . it really sounds like the PS3 engine got the short end of the stick. im playing it now, and it looks fantastic. the pc version is clearly the best, with 360 trailing behind, but i really dont think a few torn frames and d...
you know, alot of people give HHG shit because he scores alot of games high, but maybe he enjoys playing games. not everyone feels the need to nitpick every aspect of a game. i like HHG reviews because he tends to focus on the things he enjoyed about it, rather than harp on all the negative things in it. i would guess there comes a time when you're developing, that you just have to throw your hands up and get it out the door. chances are, its way beter than any game youve ever produce...
Call of Colossus: Moder warfare 2, and we'd all be waiting for PS3 remakes of PS2 COD titles
i liked the game over all, but it has to be the ugliest game ive ever seen on 360. again, not that big of a deal, just caught me off guard how crappy it looked. maybe ill hold out for ps3 version
Most of these "comparisons" are purely from a graphical standpoint, sometimes performance, but in some cases, you have to factor in other things as well, such as controller configuration and other aspects. for instance i preferred the ps3 version of bayonetta over the 360 because after playing both, i found the DS3 to be more responsive than the 360 pad. this outwieghed the framerate and texture differences to me.
you do know you can dodge out of any attack, right?
if you think all enemies were the same. ive beat the game on infinte climax, and ive also played and beat GOW3, and god of war's enemies may have been varied somewhat, but you use the same strategy to beat them all. bayonetta requires that you use most of the weapons given in order to beat alot of the monsters, i.e. using fire gauntlets so the enemies on fire wont hurt you when you attack. i really got into the game, it is much more of a technical game as far as combos go, much more so...
its bioware so im sure i wont be dissapointed, but im not sure i like the new combat system. . .
these games may not be built from the ground up, but at least they patched it into some games alot of people already own rather than making you pay for new games when you buy the thing. its nice to bring home new hardware and already have games that work with it
