Why the versus? Resistance and Gears of War are on different consoles, and Killzone 2 doesn't come out until February of 2009. None of these games are in competition with eachother.
If Blu Ray discs were less than 35 dollars a disc, I would own more than Weeds Season 1, and Weeds Season 2.
The only exclusive FPS's the PS3 has coming out this year is Resistance 2.
MGS4 isn't a FPS, Haze sucks (the demo on the EU PSN is HORRIBLE), and KillZone 2 was delayed until 2009.

The Wii isn't even in the running for winner of the "console war". Just because everyones grandma and every hosuewife owns Wii fit, it doesn't make it the best gaming machine.

I like auto aim. I don't play GTAIV online for it's competitive play, I play it to blow things up and have fun. If I want a competitive game I play Counter Strike or Call of Duty 4.
Square is saving everything for the same day. They are going to debut FFXIII, The Last Remnant, and whatever that other game is all at either E3 or TGS.

GTA wouldn't be affected at all if EA bought Take Two. EA would just let Rockstar do what it wants because they sell enough already.

I have a 60GB PS3, not sure if it is from launch. But the game works.
