I have to wonder about the sources myself. I never received any brass knuckles or cigars from EA. I did receive the game though. I also don't know of anyone else who received this package. It's possible though.
This article is kind of stupid. There are so many loopholes around these laws. The only time anyone would ever get in trouble is if they carried them around in public.
some people keep saying it's a "rental" but I'm not entirely sure about that. 16 hours on single player isn't bad considering how many games I have beaten in less than 8 in the past year.
I can see some thought went into the list, which is usually never the case with top ten lists. I don't agree with the list though. I would have obviously included Twilight Princess and Metroid Prime 3 at least.
A+ may be a bit steep. Visually it kills Halo, but there are enough gameplay issues to drop it down to an A.
Some have flagged this one for being old, but there are only 4 reviews for the title on the site, so I don't see a problem. If there were dozens and dozens of reviews, that would be one thing.

I do think society has taken censorship way too far. I have seen a few real life instances where people were killed because they didn't know what to do in the face of violence. I think part of this has to do with our society's way of censoring and sheltering children way too much. When they become adults, they aren't ready to face the real world. We teach people to be passive . We teach people that if someone pulls a knife or gun on you to just remain calm and do whatever they say. etc....
The funny thing is that the original article was approved. That was the flame bait article. I wrote the article and actually didn't know someone submitted it until now. I was actually complaining about the original article and giving my responses to the original list. I could also care less about traffic numbers or baiting people, etc. I blog about games because I enjoy it. If I wanted to make tons of money, etc I would go back to corporate blogging lol.

Not sure why I got so many spam reports on this. This wasn't a "great" piece of gaming journalism, but it was still factual and something I would have approved if someone else had written it. It beats another generic top ten reasons... list. :) And I am sure some people will fall for the scam, so I don't see why I shouldn't put it out there.

I may be alone on this one (not sure) but the whole breaking posts that could be a page or two max into 7 just seems like a way to manipulate statistics and boost page view numbers. I have no clue why sites (even the big ones) continue to do this. When I see it, I close the window. Just being honest. I know people were doing this in the early days of blogging to be more like magazines, but web articles should not be like print articles. Just my thoughts.
It has become more of a hardware issue for me. For several years, 90% of my gaming was done on an Xbox 360, but 3 broken consoles later, I had to adjust my opinion. I still think the 360 has the better games, but the PS3 has a really attractive exclusive lineup this year. From a hardware angle, most PS3 games seem to load a little faster and are more reliable. every gamer has the right to their opinions, but this list was way off in my opinion. KOTOR belongs there, but not sure about some of the other choices.
I'll give you the fact that the power glove was sort of useless, but it was still one of the greatest in a weird way.
