In my opinion, an embargo can only be enforced when there's some kind of contract between the publisher and the site. If a game is legally obtained, who cares about an embargo? If Microsoft cared so much, they would provide more sites with review copies. If they didn't provide anything, then there's no contract.
The length of the game is definitely disappointing.
Famitsu should really expand to the U.S. Their game coverage beats anything we get here.
In a lot of ways, I actually liked 2 more than 3. We had more epic battles on 2. The thing that ruined it all was the cheating that got out of control.
Firefight mode definitely has me curious as well. I've been playing Halo from the beginning and the whole series was honestly starting to get a bit boring and repetitive. This could freshen things up a bit.
I agree. Achievements and trophies are easy to get hooked into, but they are just points.
I agree with the story thing. Too many FPS games have terrible campaign stories.
I'm not sure if there will ever be the perfect FPS...
They certainly aren't very balanced the way things are now :)
Zombies are getting a bit boring. It's time they evolve into something more powerful and intelligent.
I never doubted Sony like most. Their plans have always been long-term and it's starting to payoff now.
The Wii was originally going to sell for $200 if I remember right, but they jacked up the price right before launch. If I had to stick a value on the Wii, I'd say $179 would be fair at this point.
I agree that they should be allowed to make the game. I am certainly against censorship. Do I think it's a good idea? No.
I certainly believe that the Iraq war was unjust. We went after the wrong country and Bush/Cheney knew it. It was all part of their plan to expand our empire. I don't think that should be held against soldiers at all though.
4/10 is really LOW for this game. It wasn't the greatest game ever, but it was still better than the average game we see these days.
I was tired of all the people who gave this game a 10/10 or 9/10. It was a really good game, but definitely not flawless.
The Civil War was horrible. But do we have realistic Civil War games? Not really. What I am saying is that people don't want "realistic" war games. A realistic experience wouldn't be a very good one.
it might still be over-priced for 19.99. I'm sorry, but this game was awful. I actually got rid of it after one day.
There's a huge difference between movies and games. Why would someone want to experience realistic combat? Only someone naive would want to basically. You also cannot compare one war to another or try to say one was more horrific than another. It's silly to make a comparison like that or make the "they would really sh*t their pants then" comment like you made. How do you know what anyone would do or think?
Games that allow you to be creative with your own content are certainly some of the most enjoyable gaming experiences you can have. It's unfortunate that your options on consoles are very limited.
