People are hyped for MGSV because it comes out in a little over two weeks. Hitman and Deus ex don't come out until 2016, and, in my opinion, they don't seem like games that most people get as excited about as opposed to the releases this year, and some from next year. I'll probably get deus ex because I'm sure it will be awesome, but I'm just not that excited about it for some reason. Then the reason assasin's creed isn't getting any hype is because no one cares ab...
I've been almost positive that this game would be more than $20 since it was first announced. $40 is a perfectly justifiable price, but I'm not quite sure about $60, and this is coming from someone whose REALLY excited about this game. There's a few reasons why. Sean Murray has come out and said that the game will likely take somewhere between 40-100 hours to "beat" (get to the center of the galaxy. While this is a lot of content length-wise, and you can continue playing...
Yes, 900p looks better than 1080p. You can argue the BS all you want that the human eye can't tell the difference all you want, but many people can tell the difference at ranges that don't match up to what the author claims. 900p isn't a world ending difference, but saying that doesn't make the ps4 version better is just straight up incorrect. That's like telling me that having $100 is just as good as having $115. It's simply not.
Depends on how big the download is for me. Could be huge.
If it's a full price game, I might be waiting on reviews before I buy it. I think there's likely $60 worth of content in there, but I just can't be sure. And the other issue is that this game could easily dive into the realm of repetitiveness. I mean, it was made by 11 people, I was expecting a $40 price tag on this.
If sony implements a way to link games you own to psnow, then it could. It would, unfortunately, be DRM laden like the xbox one version is, but I think that's the best we'll get.
This is what I was hoping for. I wanted a complete reboot. I loved the original 3, despite the ending, but there were definitely problems that needed to be fixed. With it being a completely new plot, there's more chances of those fixes being made.
Sony has continually proven they are the most dedicated to their legacy platforms, and platforms in the long run. All of their consoles have continued to sell for at least 10 years. The only one the will probably not reach this goal is the vita. Still though, for a system that's been having rather poor sales for it's entire life, it's still gotten pretty decent support.
It would be also be a good F*** you to konami. If Kojima ends MGSV with Big boss getting killed by snake, there's nothing else they can do. He's finally finished the story completely. I wouldn't be surprised if he even made the game go a little further into history than he intended, just so it could end this way, even if it wasn't his original intention.
So there going to try out the cloud based pibbgybacking? A thing that has only worked in theory during test demos under perfect conditions. Also, I was reading yesterday that crackdown won't allow these feature in single player.
The order brought linear to a whole new level.
The writer of this article realizes it's referring to the res of the monitor right? Aka, if these same people had ps4s, there res would also be downgraded on a lower than 1080p screen. It also doesn't really talk about resolutions higher than 1080p.
@hammad. The ps3 and 360 traded blows, saleswise, the entire gen. People remember the first couple ps3 years as a lot more grim than they actually were. The ps3 and 360's first and second respective years were almost even. After that, the ps3 had a slight edge the rest of the gen. The only reason the ps3 hadn't surpassed the 360 by it's third year on the market was because the one year lead that the 360 had.
This looks like a steam summer sale buy for me.
Glad to see Sony acknowledging this. They need to get one of these things in every best buy and gamestop if they actually want people to buy them. I'm incredibly interested in morpheus, but it is one thing I'll absolutely refuse to buy unless I've used it first. There's simply no way to translate using this tech to the buyer on a screen. You can try, but we only know it's cool in theory. With that said, I'm still going to wait several months after launch to buy it rega...
Yeah, I've gotta say, this kinda looks like a generic TPS to be 100% honest. Now there's a slight twist, but the mechanics look like there's nothing special about them.
That will be implemented. I'm guessing emulation wouldn't be overly hard on a ps4.
How did this make it onto here. The grammar errors make this thing next to unreadable.
I think there is. That would be a poor design choice if there wasn't.
I think 20 is a bit low, but I don't really wanna say this game is worth 60.
