Yep. Xbox one had a better holiday lineup and still got trounced. This was the last time the xbox one had to prove that it could beat the ps4, and it failed.
My top 5 from this year probably goes.
Bloodborne
MSGSV
Until dawn
fallout 4
rocket league.
And I cannout stress how under rated I thing until dawn was.
It's not a bad thing, but we shouldn't be getting excited yet.
There is literally no way the ps4 will.be outsold by the xbox one. It's has nearly double the sales.
Ps4, nearly double the sales.
Theyre pre-owned, not refurbished.
They've said his next project won't be silent hills. I'd still love to see him make a horror game though.
more than a fridge??? Are you kidding me? A fridge/freezer combo will use almost 3000kWh a day. If you run a ps4 at peak consumption for 12 hours a day, you'd be right, but that's not really how it works.
I feel like it's likely their history, and the fact that it has a far larger install base. By the time Kojima's new game comes out, the PS4 will easily have sold more than double the units the xbox one has.
got until dawn on black Friday. I feel like that game is seriously under rated.
So are some wannabe anonymous assholes going to to this every fucking year now? God, can't I just relax over my Christmas break? They're going to get arrested if they do this.
I mean, it's basically like telling me the Rockstar is working on a new game. It's nice to hear, but doesn't tell me much. But I agree, the concept seems cool.
All I've seen is one trailer for it. It's hard to be excited about a game that isn't being talked about at all. I'm betting they talk a lot about it during e3 though. Or hopefully earlier.
So the Xbox one has won overall because of random assumptions that you've decided to make?
@scarecrow90 1080p is very common this gen, but I'd agree that I wouldn't really call is a standard by any means. I would love to see 4k the norm on the ps5 and xbox wtf, but it's doubtful.
The xbox one is not gaining ground. The sales gap continues to widen. Percent market share continues to go up for sony. The ps4 almost always sells more than the wiiU and xbox one combined on a week by week basis. The PS4 is at nearly 52% market share, and growing, that's not a winning situation for micorosoft.
I agree unless it's massive in some way, but there are very few MP only games I'd pay full price for.
4k might, MIGHT be a thing next gen, and even then, I don't think it will be the norm unless this gen goes a couple years longer than we think it will.
I hate to break it to you, but that's never how it worked. Even when the ps3 launched at $600, it was still weaker than high end PCs. It was an amazing upper mid range to low high end, but still. It also had terrible sales until the price was lowered. Consumers have spoken, they'd rather have a cheaper, weaker console.
Konami wanted him to release a game this year, and it probably should have in come out next year.
