I ordered the fallout 4 pip boy edition.
And I have the digital copy.
Why? Because I don't want to miss a second of fallout release. Hell I will be playing earlier than people staring in line waiting for their copy.

I always download and install drivers from GeForce experience. Not bothered at all by this.

I of course would love a game to launch without a day one patch or hell any patches. But reality these days and past years says otherwise. I would as a result rather the patch be day one instead of day 14 with a game breaking issue. So overall... I absolutely have zero butt hurt about a day one patch. Because the game is sitting right now installed on my console. I can wait a few minutes for a patch. It is no where remotely that serious to be bothered by it.
More than any game coming out this year. Fallout will take up my time the most. Even after beating it multiple times, I will play it over and over for a long time.
At the beginning a ton of people hated on this cloud computing approach by Microsoft. And it was to a degree understandable. But Microsoft was talking about huge multiplayer games numbering in the thousands years ago in the middle of the 36o life cycle. They have been evolving to this point for a long time. If crackdown pans out in the real world when it launches... I think the claim that non assisted cloud based games being the minority will be a very accurate statement.

Just logged on to play. And I got the weirdest game crash. Generic error it said and kicked me to home screen. Beta testing good times.

Freaked me out the first time it happened. It was a complete and quick shut down like the power turned off in my home. Problem is my xbox is on battery back up so I realized something was wrong.
