i7-7700k and gtx 1080 (ultrawide res)here. I have everything high-to-ultra and I am getting 40-45 fps with drops to 33-40 fps when there’s a lot going on. I have been tweaking a lot in the starting area and will wait till I get to horse shoe to further tweak stuff. So far this card is rocking the game just fine. I haven’t experience any stops yet but my screen was glitching a lot when I turnedd FXAA and MXAA on. I just left the temporary AA On medium and it is fine
I prefer Ultrawide gaming so far. I like the immersion that a wider screen provides and it also looks very good with great performance. The best of both worlds
I disable the antivirus for an hour and the game starts just fine
Looking absolutely stunning with my 1080 at high-to-ultra settings with an avg of 40-45 fps (ultrawide res) This game is my new pride for getting into PC gaming (move over W3)

You seem to have a problem with people liking Sony games. We are real gamers too and PS have a plethora of influential games, like it or not. TLoU was a masterpiece and everyone loving it is not “lusting” over it. It is just that, one of the best games ever made. Why is that a problem? It may not be game of the generation At all or it may be for some, but neither is BoTW imo.

The game is in a bad state and has been for the last 2 years with balance issues. I love the RoleQ but the game still suffers From balancing. The game was at its best prior Season 4. Maybe then it was better than most games... But after S5 is when the game started to go downhill and became really toxic. I don’t even play it as much anymore.

If GTA and COD were available on Switch and Nintendo had the casual market in lockdown, the they would have been the top selling games as well. Nintendo is built mostly on legacy titles like Zelda, Mario, smash bros, mario kart, and Pokemon... but that’s it. Other than those games, everything else doesn’t sell as much. So obviously people will buy Nintendo for the exclusiveS, because Nintendo long time ago gave up on power and lost the 3rd party market for gimmicks and underpowered consoles. ...
It just needed downloads and to be priced closer to gamepass. And Now it can compete. It has everything except for day one exclusives releases, which I think I doesn’t necessarily need. Exclusives are selling well and people don’t mind that. That was just MS way to get people get their exclusives. It hasn’t been a good Generation for those
PS4 will be cheap and that same people won’t probably afford the PS5 when it releases. Not everyone buys consoles day one

you have already spent more than what a high end PC cost by buying Xbox day one and an upgrade later, plus yearly subscription, and still have the inferior hardware and waiting years for a worthwhile game.
