Kinect can track movement towards and away from itself plus it has skeletal tracking and it can do much much more, So your statement is false. Regular cameras cannot do what Kinect can do. The technology behind Kinect is amazing.

There is at least 3 out of the five games that interest me. Torchlight, Beyond Good and Evil HD and Hard Corps Uprising look really cool. I haven't looked at the other 2 though so maybe they will also be good.
