3d glasses =/= Oculus
Oculus is a really immersive experience (from what I've seen - haven't been fortunate enough to try one yet).
3d glasses are... eh, they're OK, I suppose. Not a fan of them myself.
So now we have GamingBolt and GamerBolt posting awful click bait articles. Why do these even get approved?
Salty and bitter? Hmm.
An article chastising a game because someone has analyzed it in pixel-detail to find that it does something NO ONE ELSE would have noticed? That's bitter.
Why bother? It's not "informing a consumer". A consumer would not notice the difference.
Lazy developers?
Get over yourself. Far Cry 4 for one thing is not "sub-par". It looks amazing and plays better. One refreshing thing about it is that the online co-op is utterly seemless. I haven't had a single problem and most of the time I've put in so far has been online.
I have a 50" TV and I'm telling you that the resolution isn't noticeable. These articles are getting tiresome.
Censored? No.
Would you expect updates on new pirated movies being available on IMDB?
So N4G is supporting piracy now?
Not sure I agree with this getting approved.
... starting to show its AGE.
Whoops.
Playing MCC made me realise just how bloody good the gameplay in Halo 4 is. I know a lot of people have their own issues with the story (I'd agree with most of them) but the gameplay is absolutely fantastic.
Halo 2 is legendary for it's controls and movement but I think it's starting to show its. I put an awful lot of time into it way-back-when and I'll be the first to admit that it's showing its age these days.
The changes 343i are makin...
Ouch... Didn't expect an essay.
On the note about multiplayer - the Xbox One is at a higher user base now than the 360 was at this point. That's gotta be good since the 360 was lauded for its online multiplayer.
@Garethvk:
I'm curious; why do you think the consumer has the right/need to know how much a product has sold (outside of being invested in the company financially)?
Do you know how many Toshiba Laptops have been sold before buying your own?
Do you know how many Jeeps have been sold before buying your own?
Do you know how many packets of Doritos have been sold before you buy your own?
To be fair, you can start playing Halo CE pretty quickly and go from there. As part of the update, the game is patched and that's why you can't play online till it's done. But if you're waiting you can start playing single player pretty much straight away.
@Foxtrot
Neither Sony nor MS are paying any devs to drop one version or the other. It wouldn't be in any company's interest to do something so stupid.
It is absolutely not the case.
You've got to be trolling?
Sony had exclusive advertising rights to both Watchdogs and Destiny. Both of those have differences in performance on PS4 than Xbox - but did you exclaim in frustration at Ubisoft or Activision then?
Sometimes the game is easier to optimise, sometimes the architecture benefits one title and not another.
In the case of AC, sometimes the entire game is just screwed - advertising deal or not.
I gave up a few hours ago. I was really looking forward to it too :(
Any games I did get into were extremely laggy - though that could have just been my connection
They really don't.
It LOOKS fantastic. Gameplay looks like amazing fun too. Why bash on someone saying they enjoyed it?
You're trying way to hard.
The reviewers have been able to play in MP for a week or so. Frank O'Connor was tweeting last week about 343 having to play in MP all day to fill up the servers for reviewers.
Low score? It's 9.5 out of 10!
Roll on Tuesday. Halo is my favorite series and the amount of content in this just makes me all kinds of happy.
I like the approach here of leaving the center kind of blank. Hopefully some achievement art starts going this route too!
