lol that's a very silly way of looking at it.
"Its THEIR choice"
-- You do understand this design came from a man? Quiet is not an ACTUAL woman who made the costume choice.
That's really not hard to understand.
Of course it's objectification. Any rationale behind why she would dress that way is a retcon.
BTW, I'm 100% not a SJW or any other silly acronym you want to throw around... but get your head ...
I actually kind of enjoyed this over the weekend. Only played a little but I could see it being worth the price of a standard game (would not pay monthly however).
The voice acting is not "awful". It's not Citizen Kane but the story trundles along nicely.
The timed jumps thing - isn't that part of the game? The running and jumping takes a little bit of skill or practice to work properly.
I will admit that the only part I've played in SP is the beginning and that was a bit slow. In co-op I have only the highest praise for it, however.
Wow, not sure what this review takes issue with.
I've been playing it in co-op and it's amazing fun :D
Hey! The website is cool. I like the design and the layout of the article is quite good :)
If possible, I would get an editor (or someone who can proof-read your articles for you). Every writer needs someone to give a second opinion.
Good luck!
Here's an example of the bugs I've seen - http://xboxclips.com/Askani...
That is by no means game breaking. I wouldn't call them out for something like that. Also, it's hilarious.
Also: being able to completely customise your assassin is fantastic.
I'm on Xbox One. I've completed most of the Co-Op challenges with my brother and we haven't had any problems (yet).
We won this week's Assassin Brotherhood challenge so we've put a fair few hours in between us without issue.
At £16.99 it's a steal. Latest patch has led to a completely solid experience since I've been playing. I got the patch after the first sequence and haven't seen an issue since. I got it for £19.99 in Tesco and love it so far.
The combat is excellent, there's tons of content and the story is decent enough. Not the best story in the series but definitely the best support characters - Elise is a great character.
Worth it in my opinion. ...
The Guardians beta is very good in my opinion.
I love Halo but change is good. Change is always good, even if it's bad.
The article cites Mario not changing between games. I have to wonder about that logic. If 343 decided not to change things up, it would feel stale. Halo 2 feels very slow now compared to contemporary games.
Trying something new is good.
Woah so quick to jump down my throat. Nice.
Yes, I was referring to Kinect.
I've actively turned it off in games (FIFA for one) and can't think of any I've actually used it.
Don't get me wrong, I'd love a game that used it well.
Eh - my games perform well enough. I'm playing through (patched) AC:U at the minute and I don't see any issues with performance.
As for it being a secondary function - I'd say my Xbox is used for TV more than games at the minute since it's the primary TV box in my living room.
Gotta disagree. I use mine daily for TV. Granted, I haven't once used it for games but it is extremely useful as a navigation tool.
Lol "once Linux gets more support".
People have been holding their breath on that one for a while now...
I'm seriously considering this collection. It's a lot of money but then it's a lot of games.
Where'd you see the info about the others on sale?
I dunno about JB being wrong.
The game engines I've used all have a game update loop. Essentially a function which runs every frame. This will contain all the logic you'll need to check at every stage of the game.
This is how they work and it works well.
I can't help but feeling there's a more elegant cause/effect paradigm hiding in there somewhere.
Eh, even the best of us can write a few "mysterious bugs". It's not reserved for the n00bs :P
In pretty much any avenue I find C# hard to beat. Sure, it has lots of fluff and that doesn't result in great performance unless you REALLY know what you're doing but it's easy to write as a beginner and amazing when you're a professional and know a lot of the ins-and-outs.
I use it personally for Unity3d work. All that being said, a new language designed for games specifically is something I'd be all for. A new paradigm that focuses on the repeated code l...
@kevnb
They ported 4 games, yes. Which itself is impressive. But they ported 4 games, from 2 different platforms, and implemented a single, unified set of online functionality between them all.
Any way you cut it that's impressive.
Halo 4 was polished so well. Really awesome game considering the name it had to live up to.
As much as the situation with MCC has been an absolute train wreck - the job 343 had to do here was pretty immense. I don't think they'll ever get the credit they deserve for this one considering the launch but it is genuinely impressive that it works at all.
Hahaha
"It's not objectification. I'd bang her."
