Its amazing and disgusting how they rely on Mario, Zelda etc. Characters that we have played with for 20 years or so.
I am 40 years old...I have ZERO desire to play a mario or zelda game ever!
I feel they should have not launched so soon...come with a different name that didnt have Wii in the name...called it Nintendo (insert new name here) and had some games for launch.
And also had a game plan for more games. Form my understanding..as I do...
Although people will play lone wolf style....why are they advertising that you can play that way? (I know the answer...but when you make a game based on squads and team play...you promote ...lone wolf in your ad)

It sounds like a add on for the Wii....not a whole new system. Nintendo for the most part has always named each system something different...gamecube, wii, nintendo 64 etc

I remember when the 360 launched. I had ZERO interest in getting it. I was happy with my xbox/PS2. There was still good games coming out for both systems.
Fast Forward.....I can honestly say Im ready for new systems...it has been a long 8 years. GTA5 just releasing is keeping me playing current gen. But there is nothing else out I want.
BUT I do want to play BF4 on next gen....64 players is very appealing to me...
Im getting X1 first...PS4 down the road. Gamertag does influence my buying the X1 somewhat.
@DialgaMarine....your entitled to your opinion. But the notion that people will buy the cheaper option...I disagree.
People will BUY what they WANT!!!! $100 cheaper will not make me buy a PS4 first. I WANT a X1 so I will buy that first.

All I know is that I was lucky to get a pre-order in for the XBOX One. I had the money saved for awhile and never pre-ordered.
There isnt any PS4 or XB1 available for pre-order...at least every where I looked it was SOLD OUT!!!!
Now being sold out doesnt mean that one has more then the other but it does mean that there is DEMAND for both systems. And that in my book is great!!!

Here is the thing with COD.
For every 1 person that STOPs buying COD or gets tired of it. There is 1 or more to replace that person.
Think about it...as we get older we get tired of certain games...this case COD. But there are plenty of kids who age and get old enough to play the games we are tired of.
So I dont see COD sales dropping substantially. Wasnt the last COD there best selling one to date???

COD sells a crapload EVERY year. Meaning in reality they are making more overall money then GTAV devs (Im just guessing)
Every year you make a game that sells like what 20 million plus....versus a game that comes every 5 years and games in between.
Money wise...id rather be in Activisions shows.

I will say out the gate both consoles (based on pre-orders) are sold out. I was lucky ( I think lol) to get a pre-order in last week.
But I can see some non-gamers (casuals) who jumped on the Wii....playing smartphone games.
But for US...meaning the ones who hit N4G. IGN, STFUandplay etc for game news etc....I dont see NONE of US....ever going tablet or smartphone only for our gaming needs.

I once read that the reason 3rd party devs ain to make games the same on lets say (360/ps3) is that statistics showed that if on one system the game was significantly better that sales suffered on the lesser perceived GIMPED version.
So games like BF4 will be as close as possible.
I do understand why one would be upset if there system of choice COULD have gotten a better version graphically. But what can you do?? Your still getting a good/great game regardle...
Not sure but allot of things can be stored in the cloud. I dont know the number but they I believe bumped up the cloud storage significantly.
If you fill up 500g and need more space I guess your going to have to do like I do THIS gen...erase older games you dont play anymore.
Me...im never playing more then 2-3 games at any given time period. Like now....NBA2K14 and GTA5 is in heavy rotation.
