Why be a multi-platform buyer when a PC is better then both PS4 and X1 combined?
When looking at Steam's actual display stats, when adding higher resolutions in the mix, 57% of steam users are using 1080p or higher.
Steve Ballmer and Bill Gates have around 100 Billion between them in personal finances. This is pocket change for MSFT as a company.
Only thing that will fix this is new hardware. Xbox one is only SATA II with a 5400 rpm hard drive. Plus blu ray read speeds are terrible with cheap blu ray rom drive.
No software is fixing this.

Its because they are no longer selling the x1 due to impending release of new xbox one eighty. That is capable of 1440p @60FPS!

AAA sales do not make a game AAA. Payday 2 is nowhere near AAA. Its story is poor, graphics look like it was made for xbox 360 in 2007 (PC) and its the same thing over and over and over again.
The risk/reward factor for heists is so low too. You have to massively grind maps to gain experience to reach higher infamy levels. You need about 800,000+ exp points after level 90 and up just to gain a single point. Average job that isnt pro on DW is around 175,000 for the bigger heis...
A PC can pretty much do any resolution up to 4K. Consoles are getting further and further behind. They arent catching up either.
It really is sad that 1080p is still not the set standard for this generation of consoles, but both the PS4 and X1 tech is over 2 years old. Those AMD APU's came out so long ago. Such a waste. They both should have waited another year or so to make sure the consoles could handle 1080p at 60FPS on medium to high settings.

Here is an idea: Dont make a console and say its next gen when it can barely do 1080P. Thats still not next gen, FYI.
Dont make a console and do a complete 180 on everything you previously announced.
BTW, the core gamer is on PC! Always will be.

These are bad screenshots to begin with but if you look at this years gameplay the side of the cliff is more of a smoothed out rock structure with cliffs in background turned into smoother hills. In last years trailer there is more detail in the rock and more depth in the cliffs leading to the background. The ground is also smoothed out in this years gameplay.

FYI - Capcom DID NOT lock the game at 30 FPS. You CAN play at 60 if you would like, but they said that animations and zombie movement was done at a locked 30.
So basically they are saying that you can play at 60 but they arent sure exactly how it will look or perform.
It's still weak sauce though. Maybe when steam holiday sale comes along ill buy but not for more then $5. You may get a fix though if the word spreads enough and Capcom gets enough negativit...

So the PS4 is selling well but with a low software base. Would you rather a console that can do full 1080 with little games to play or a console that has a lot of fun games to play?
And thats exactly why I'll be sticking with my PC this generation. No need to play a game that wont run smoothly and just proof that these consoles were both rushed.
I can play any game at 1080 with sustained 60 FPS on at least high to ultra settings all day on any game with my PC. Steam is just so convienent.
PS4 not much better then PS3 either. Maybe better lighting but textures are almost identical. Not so much next gen here.
I believe people are making multiple steam accounts for free. Then they are joining the Payday 2 Group. This way it goes up faster.
