Both the Xbox One and PS4 have APU's from 2009. They are now 7 years old! They need to come out with newer consoles soon as they are way far behind on gaming tech.
I wouldn't be surprised if we see new consoles much sooner. The only reason the PS3 and 360 lasted so long was due how bad the market and economy was doing.

I understand it is supposed to immerse yourself further in to the gaming world but I don't think it will.
With games barely being at full 1080P now and PS4 headset having OLED screens while expanding your FOV the game will probably need to have lower textures to support the refresh rate of 120Hz. I dont think the games will look that good at all. Especially since it is going to be right in your face you will notice this a whole lot more now.

I dont ever remember a PC game not being able to run over 30fps. Even with crappy hardware, if you had low settings you could alwyas get over 30fps.
I dont even know how this ever became an issue with PC. Running games at 60FPS has been an option for so long now as monitors were pretty much always 60hz which lets you play at 60fps or below.
