The trojan horse tactic for Bluray is the sole reason why it is the next gen HD media format. HDDVD was released to the market first and had several months head start. If there was no Bluray in every PS3 sold, Bluray woul've had major issues keeping up and overtaking HDDVD the way it did. Sony's strategy was superior.

9/10 Target Store cash registers will not allow this game to be sold until Friday. I saw the game in Target on Tuesday morning at around 8:15am. I knew that it would not ring up properly, but I tried it anyway. At least I got to see the box art, etc up close. But I knew before hand, short of a miracle... the clerk would not sell me the game.
Nothing to see here really, but i do wonder how a tiny handful of stores registers are not auto-voiding the sale with the street date ...
This game has been in development since the XBOX and it still isn't out. Alan wake is the Duke Nukem of the 360. 360 fans keep hailing over the graphics when all footage is shown from PC demos... very funny.

But it seems that your boss is more of a technical moron than you if he came to you for advice. The PS3 is STILL one of the best Bluray players on the market. Its boot and load times are 1/3 to 1/4 standalone players are. I bought a premium Sharp Aquos Bluray player to go along with my 46" Sharp Aquos HDTV, and compared to the PS3 it is JUNK!

This is a prime example of synthetic "sampling". The differences between REAL performance and spec performance are always different. Spec performances are probably mainly done in dust free, leveled ground environments in rooms that are never above 70 degrees.

Second, fix spawning so there are no more Death Spawns. Stop spawninging players 5 feet in front of the enemy... at least make people WORK for their kills. The maps are wayyyy to big on almost every stage for something as ridiculous as death spawns... smarter spawning please.
None of my friends on XBL are buying GTA4 DLC. Only TWO of them own GTA4, and only one of them bought GTA4, the other uses a modded 360... so he buys nothing. But at least HALF of my friends are waiting for COD5's DLC... I think COD5 will sell more than GTA4. I own GTA4 and refuse to buy the DLC, simply because the original game is about a 8/10 and not a 10/10 like reviews claimed. We coulda been nickel-n-dimed to death too if Sony copied MS' model. External Bluray add-on, Separate Card reader, Battery Packs for our controllers, $99 Wifi card, Pay-to-play Online Service, External Bluetooth dongle, etc. etc. For a Grand total of $380 on top of your console cost.

This is a dream come true for modders. The console is cheap enough to buy an extra so downloaded 360 games can be played offline early, and keeping a legit system on XBL. Just think, after copying only THREE $60 games, you have all but paid for the spare console!!!

If it was "LAG" it would not matter how you set you controller sensitivity, your controller would still NOT respond when you made a movement, it would stutter on the screen in an attempt to keep up with your last action. It would go by slowly with the default setting, speed up the axis sensitivity, you would experience the SAME stutter, but with a quicker or longer distance movement over the same stuttering connection. Enough said...
