@CobraKai - From what I've seen, that is all that anyone was asking for - NO Changes to the original game difficulty, but an ALTERNATE menu option with an easier setting. That is why I don't understand the maddening hate. I have yet to see a single person asking for the current game to be altered in any way.
@unjust75 - The issue is that Rage Nerd Mega Dorks don't realize they were using Easy mode by summoning help in Dark Souls. Now, these same idiots are ranting about a possible easy mode in Sekiro. I think I used summons twice to test the mechanic. It worked very well, after that, I never used it again because I rather play Souls alone.
@Kabaneri - I bet Most ALL of the Rage Nerds here complaining about Easy mode on Sekiro took advantage of the "Easy Mode COOP" in Souls games. How ironic. I probably played two full 30 minutes sessions on COOP just to see how it worked, thought it was cool, and never did it again. Many "achievers" here, users of the Souls " Easy" mode are thrashing those who says, "Hey, Why not?"
What a dumb comment. How do you know if a game is or is not for you if you have not played it yet? Every game does not get a demo, nor does everyone demo every game. Should people only purchase after putting complete faith in reviews?

While I’m enjoying the game as is... out of all the comments no one has answered the obvious. I’ve seen insults hurled, name calling to imaginary inferior gamers who would dare pay $60 just to explore the universe in a lighter fashion. How dare they!? But the question STILL remains unanswered after hundreds of comments:

What about the enemy aimbots? Gun shots through the walls? Enemies being able to “see” you from impossible roof positions. Honesty can open up talks to some lazy developing choices revealed in the gameplay. But instead of getting angry, I usually laugh when many of these things occur. But it can create unnecessary deaths at times and drag the game out where it doesn’t need it.
@sampsonon - You will never be able to reach Rage Nerds with logic. I too am enjoying the “world” of Sekiro @ it’s current setting. But, I can see someone else wanting to play in a less stressful manner. People with careers and playing other games like Division 2, Days Gone (coming up) won’t have time to dedicate a complete discipline and expert level mastery solely for Sekiro with so much else to do.

@Harryvok - Unfortunately, what would serve a Rage Nerd like this proper is if FromSoft decided that these types of games aren’t profitable enough (ROI) when compared to different companies projects. I suppose the Rage Nerd would be happy if they close the studio down 1st before putting a “Easy” difficulty (would actually be Medium or Normal on a slider) in the game to reach a broader demographic. The standard difficulty would still be the default - more options are bad I guess.
