PS3 will overtake the Xbox. It's been outselling it worldwide for a long ass time now and Japan just closed shop on the 360. The strides toward 2nd place are getting larger.
I just dont see how it would be possible to retrofit another stick to old devices. I would love to see it but honestly, I just dont see how it could be done. Shouldve been there from the start.
On that note though, my 3ds is in the mail and will be here in a few days! So excited.. Now if only there were some games to play =/
Next gen I'd say it's safe to assume that we will still be using Blu-Ray discs, however since it wont be in it't infancy, the read speeds will go up and will be ALOT faster than what they currently are now. Think about it, the 2x Bluray is just about as fast as a 12x DVD reader. Imagine a 4x or even 6x Bluray reader.
The option to install all of your games would be a great feature though. Hopefully by then SSD's will be cheaper and more prevalent so ...
There are too many people still that are without internet or have terrible connections that couldn't support digital distribution solely. That means millions upon millions of potential sales that wouldnt or couldnt be made. DD isn't possible until everyone in America has access to high speed internet. However, that day may be sooner than most think.

I played this game more than any other on my psp. While on the go I much prefer puzzle games compared to others.
