Why is everyone commenting on the credibility of the article. You could tell from the 1st paragraph what they were trying to say. All's good for PS3 now. 17 million install base will probably go over 20 million for the holidays. And the games and services are rolling out.

It's good to be part of a product in development as HOME is a one. Remember guys, HOME isn't a game and it'll never be a finished product. It'll keep evolving and even continue it's evolution on to PS4.

When Sony 1st said they'll support it for 10 years I thought they'd include 1st Party support like games etc. Seems like they meant keep it out on the market with only 3rd party titles.

Germans are smart just like everyone in Europe. They know what a quality product is and they know what "Value for money is" - whether the price is £425 or 850 euros they'll buy the quality product.
However if Gears 2 was released in Germany it would be number 1 right now.
Just being realistic.
Whether PS2 is dead or alive (pun not intended) doesn't matter much to gamers imo. I mean soon enough PS3 will have the quality of games PS2 once did.

A price drop of £100 almost $200. That won't happen in 09. I predict we'll see a £50/$100 price drop however. They might drop it to $349 and £249 in US and UK respectively.
